@TheSuperiorNoah using the stairs is pointless because even if I use them to escape, the monsters follow me to the previous or next floor. Using the map is also pointless if your immediately in a room full of monsters with high hp that rape you. One thing I've really noticed in this game is that stealth doesn't work at all, so putting points or using armor that gives you stealth is also pointless

Well got it running in chrome, but am having a tough time to figuring out how to achieve tasks... spent the last half an hour trying to get research and still have none. The help page in the game isn't very helpful

To the dev, can you make an update to the tavern where the missions can be dismissed? As some are bugged I would rather not have them filling the tavern
When you get into the game, press ESC and then click on options to change settings to get the best FPS. Then in-game just circle around the border until you complete the badges.
Clearly a fact that Kong doesn't test the games they make available for botd, because they want people to 1 star developers out of sheer frustration... another dev thrown under the bus by Kong!
I find this game too grindy, I was hard pressed to get to lvl 50 in normal but I am not making much progress beyond that even with towers doing 119k damage
It's a bit of a slow start, but things really get moving once you get a few good upgrades and equipment. But regardless, the game certainly isn't for everyone! Thanks for trying anyways :)
There is one very rare bug I know of that causes this that I am still trying to fix. Otherwise, it should not happen 99.9% of the time. Also, double check your towers aren't on skill support.
Autosave may be broken, but you can manually save i.e. More Tab, Save Game. Save your gems for the shop boost and do the time/date trick to complete the game quickly

Building free thinking range and having workers there in the range of berry picker/wood cutter will start producing research.
