I think spirit upgrade needs rework or something. On my first transcend I got 15 spirit points which is too little. The upgrade are "ok" but with its current form, it's not worth transcending. Reincarnation gives back some of the lost reputation and fortune but the growth rate per level is too little. If I transcend, I'll have to split that little points I have for reincarnation, fame + other fighting upgrades. The other upgrades cost vs effect are somewhat decent but reincarnation's growth rate is so small it's not gonna make a huge difference. It's a spirit sink which is kind of a reverse to what you'd expect transcend would do, make you stronger. My suggestion is to buff its growth rate. Make the upgrade similar to defense starts with decent amount per level, then slowly getting smaller (maybe like 10%, 10%, 5%, 5%, 5% , 5%, 2%, 2%... 1% ... til cap).

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I've increased the guaranteed soul rewards from beating level 199 so that players will be able to get at least 40 or so Spirit right away. I've also added a popup suggesting players wait until at least 100 Spirit before Transcending.

Question. How does Learner trait work exactly? I wish there's a more detailed description. Things like duration and which upgrade. From the wording, I assume it only adds "an" upgrade, so 1 stack. But which upgrade? All(gold, wish, reputation, divine)? And how long is temporary, the whole battle? And for any upgrade similar to Necrosis, I hope you'll add the value how much we get from necro points we have. I know it can easily be computed but it would be nicer to see the number on the upgrade it self.

It steals a random upgrade (which can be any of the 32 upgrades that take up the main screen, as long as your opponent has a point in it) for the remainder of the fight. I'll look into updating Necrosis tooltip, I just wanted to avoid cluttering it.

I'm liking this so far and it's good to know there's an upgrade later that let us keep some of our wish and reputations. I hope this will gain more depth in the future. More features and achievements too. Maybe add ads and stuff. Also, chat would've been nice if this catch on. For some reason this game reminds me of sword fight idle game. I really though it's made by the same dev.

I see it now. Proclaim resets everything below it but Wish will not reset reputation since it's an upgrade above it. I'm gonna assume transcend will also reset everything below it? This system is ok but will get tiresome in a while. Suggestion : why not make it so that if I, for example, proclaimed, I'll also get all the fortune for that run but the ones from my previous runs will be wiped out. That way, we'll have a starting points for fortune upgrades too and wont have to start blank since a lot of the later traits are fortune related. At 120-ish, I can still push further but these traits are useless to me after first proclaim. If transcend works the same way, it'll be so slow to build up fortune and reputation again.

That is how Transcend works as well, but there's an upgrade once you transcend that lets you retain some extra fortune and rep to get your runs started.

Is it normal for fortune upgrades to disappear when I proclaim? If I wish again, will my reputations be gone? Why are the two not stackable?

Fortune upgrades disappear when you proclaim, but Reputation upgrades won't disappear when you Wish. You should be able to build your Fortune back up pretty quick with the Reputation upgrades.

Wow. These new updates are nice. We can actually use keys to farm specific parts and rarity. Last Stand boss is still tanky but managed to kill him in one attempt today. Quests would help new players get skills. Already looking forward to the next updates. This game is so underrated.

To the all new players, give this game a shot. You can skip the prologue if you want(I highly recommend skipping it), I think that's what's turning people off the game. If you get past that and unlock more skills, you'll find it's actually entertaining. It's not an idle or clicker game. You actually have to play it. The skills are quite interesting too. And the art is beautiful. Your appearance will change if you change gear. Most of the games now are lazy with their art and stuff and only care about money grabbing. From the art alone, you can see a lot of work was put into this.

Another error appeared. I restarted the browser after clearing the cache cause the game crashed earlier. After returning to the game this error showed up. Fixed by refreshing the browser. I ran stage 25-54 one time, grinded in area 49-53 mostly and did a few runs in 43-48. I played for at least 7-10hrs total today but I have not seen a single blue key but got around 4 purple keys. Luck is 174 or 1413% loot find. If this is not a bug, I hope you'll rework how key chance is decided. I still get a lot of blue and green chests and purple and gold are noticeably more frequent now, but 0 blue keys.

Within a couple days we'll be releasing an update with 50 quests, many awarding blue keys. This should help with the blue keys for now. A bit later I am going to implement UI for changing purple keys into blue and orange into purple. 1 purple will be worth 2 blues, etc. I may also remove Loot Find's effect on keys altogether.

Follow up on laggy Armageddon I mailed about. In this area, are the hero and monsters(boar) supposed to be only silhouette? I noticed the fire in the background is the one making me lag. When my character is running in patch with almost no flame, I run fast and there's no lag. Can we have an option to turn the fire off? I really want to continue playing this but Armageddon is impossible with this amount of lag.

I'm going to have the game turn the fire off if it drops below optimal frame-rate. [Edit: never mind, pressing the '\' key (backslash) will now turn off fire in Armageddon levels] And yes, they are supposed to be silhouette only =)

Tips. (Most of these can be seen in the loading screen but some important ones only show up much later when it's a little too late) 1. Stats. Str affect assault skills damage, def - fortify damage and int - holy damage. Luck affects loot and mastery lucky proc chance while Speed affects casting, movement (including running) and cool down. 2. Some areas require you to have specific abilities so keep some spare keys ready. Abilities that remove debuffs, cancels casting or destroys shield will be needed. 3. You can change skill hot key. Go to skills > press the key you want to change > press the new key you want to assign it to.

The glitchy game screen keep coming back. This is the 3rd or 4th time it happened. I did not use a skill or anything. The dog was trying to attack me or something and it glitched out. I tried going back to camp, that trick did not fixed it. I'm using google chrome. Hope these bugs get fixed soon.

I don't know if this is a bug but the last castle's boss (the one with the dead king) has a weird or rather, OP ability. It randomly switches skills in the hotkeys. It would've been a good boss skill but returning to camp or continuing, the skills hotkey are not returned back to the way they are before getting debuffed. I don't think it should be that way. It's a pain to go back to camp and fix the skills arrangement. We'll lose loot % too.

Update : The skill i was talking are Paladin or holy light. Midgard of legend wasn't save. Is there a way to get it back? That item was too good to pass up. I dont think I'll have another chance of getting a new one.

It's one of the holy skills. It's either the free one we got or the buff (unlocked using purple key). I've refreshed the browser again cause of a bug. I found this midgard of legend and accepted it. A message popped up beneath the game. I hope that gear was saves cause it has really good stats on it (17luck, 10 speed, some def and str). I've seen the tip about luck affecting loot but there's no mention about it affecting skill's lucky chance. Is it safe to assume it doesn't affect mastery? Cause I've been using keys and stuff and was initially trying to stack luck but reading that made me want to change my approach. I don't want to waste keys and pass up on good gears I'd otherwise have taken if luck is just loot. I really hope there's a mouse over info for stats so we can plan in advance. I also noticed this game has "beta" on its title from the loading screen, does that mean we'll lose progress or something?

Luck affects how often Mastery procs, I will add that to its description. You won't lose progress because the saves are local and I am making sure to make all saves forward compatible. No plans to delete progress at this point.

Forgot to mention about this problem with screen suddenly getting all messy. The first time it happened is when took a new weapon. My weapon suddenly reverted into a glitchy pitchfork but has no issue continuing the game. The second time I had minor problem but got fixed after going to camp. Still payable despite the messy stuff on screen. Just now, it happened again and the trigger was using a skill. My character was stuck midair, floating, with all these glitchy images of skill icons and dice etc. Returning back to camp did not fixed it.
