Not a bad game. Music listen-ability is very hit or miss. That's what the mute button is for I guess. (And sorry, but that makes the download-ability of the whole soundtrack pretty moot.) Hint system is unnecessary, but nice for people who need it. Final "battle" was a bit wtf, but otherwise, game made sense. Art is interesting without looking cheap. So is rest of game.
What's better than a game with a hideous control scheme that should never be used for a platformer? (Ftr, if you've never played Halloween Harry, that's what Zombotron is, but with no jetpack and horrid 360 controls.) Oh, yeah. Let's make it overcomplicated and give it loads of RPG elements. Ye... no. Absolutely, not. Insanity bombarded with more complications is not a solution. NEXT!
For the last 25+ years, I tell every gamer that comes to me with their own system the same thing: if you don't bring something brilliant, fun, or with a great story, why do I want to stop playing the same games I've already been playing for several years just because you have a new idea to sell? DnD as a card game? And not even correctly or overly well? No thanks. The graphics and board presentation are good, but everything else needs to go. And it's not a true TCG either: with real CCGs you can, you know, TRADE cards. Double wham. I also don't need the game reminding me what I don't get for being a subscriber, nor the dungeon master from hell, so there's another couple of strikes. So, yeah, I'm just here for the BotD. At the goofy, grammar-horrifying "Limited By Your Own Imaginations" sprawl, I figured it was gonna be bad, but not this bad.
Barely functional, and with the combination(s) of buttons used, wreaking havoc on the browser. Like the music a great deal. Very sad, compliments the kinda hopeless journey this poor beast has ahead of it. And the wounded metroidy sounds it makes just stab the heart as it is anyway. It might as well be a "watch this and try not to cry" video on YouTube, honestly.
Da flaming farquadd did I just play? This is most certainly the weirdest, and potentially suckiest, kingdoms of them all. No mirror need be questioned. I also think my princess is in another castle. … Yup. Definitely.
A resource / war game disguised as a card game. Tricky and fun, but a lot of people won't try it because it's a strange excuse for making a card game (I'm guessing that's the reason for the concept anyway), or simply because it IS a card game. It's not a necessary component. Anyway, I think it works fine. Now, I just need to finish the darn thing. Lastly... damn you Mongowwians!!! You broke down my cashurr warrr!!!! (Sorry, it had to be done.)
Last level is more annoying than it is difficult. There's the sneaky way to finish it, and the gutsy way to finish it. Btw, stand around a little while and something funny should happen. Sometimes quickly, sometimes not. If not, move a little, try again. Happened to me purely by luck. Loved that.
Interesting concepts. Takes far too long to grasp. Tutorial is woefully deficient. Hard to develop good strategy. Took me a good 40 minutes to get past even level 3. Bonus cancel would be nice. Bomb had me confused and then fuming more than once (some are ring piece and some are slice). The game is highly dependent on luck. I've yet to grasp how I'm earning certain bonus points or items. It's a good game, but trying to wrap your head around the intricacies is a job best left to MENSA. There are aspects that warrant this whole game getting a serious overhaul. That "hard" badge is definitely one of the more difficult ones on the site. Hell, with the right luck, even some impossible badges are easier.
Funny little game. A bit grindy, but worth the while. Hell, the game literally almost plays itself to the end if you buy the right upgrades. Now, for that endless mode....
@mogllion Some cards are played on the opponent's side of the field. Using cards on your own side enables you to destroy them. (Note, using the "cancel airborne" effect to enable your monsters to attack your opponents doesn't work. I thought it did, but I was wrong. Must've been another card effect.)
No disadvantage for the mixed deck. No summoning sickness (although they have effect/spell delay, strangely). Able to play multiple mana (or quanta, whatever) creating cards on the SAME turn. Inability to target creature w/o special ability or spells (the game's sole wizard-to-wizard approach). Over-reliance on PvP. This game is broken from the get-go. Nice art though. And I do like the simplicity of play: no select-this-card-slot, monster fusion, multi-uber-buff, attack/def start in the hundreds or thousands, etc. No nonsense approach is good.
Everything was fine... until somebody made a mountain out of a molehill. Coincidentally, that's exactly what this game is based on. Whatever happened to that backup generator and fail-safe connections we were supposed to install? Oh, Thursday... 10,000 years ago. Makes sense. To coin a phrase, "whoops."
Just because something looks a little like Russian doesn't mean it is. It's Ukrainian, although that last part doesn't make much sense to me, but I'm not a native speaker either. Seems like lots of people are having trouble with level 12, even though the stage makes it clear you have to click on Bob to make the magic carpet change height. Easy peasy. I'd say the only difficulty lies in getting the stars as well. On the other hand, the game starts getting laggy as you go, so unless you're countering the lag, you have something helping in your favour. I wasn't that lucky.
Here I come, badgy. Comin' teeeeh... getcha!!! [guitar riff] (Sry, couldn't resist.) Pity I can't manage the Nightmare Game feat though (get to Sunshine w/less than 20 coins in bank). Way too bloody hard, even when I'm at my best.
Finally got a Kongpanion, no thanks to this game. First time I tried to play this game ages ago, got nothing, and cried foul. I thought, "Well, even when it does load--figured I would turn into Rip Van Winkle by the time it did--it wouldn't matter, despite the praise the game got. Kong will never make this Unity PoS a BotD." Oh, how wrong I am. %#@$ you, Kong. Doesn't matter that I already have badges for the rest of the week. It doesn't work on any browser I try it on at all (IE, Chrome, Opera, and more). That says something rather profound about the developer. What's the point? Jerk.
Don't remember playing this one. Looks good, esp for its age. Kinda tedious: should be able to go directly to rooms already explored. Must have a well adjusted party, and constantly micromanaging so you don't blow it, even on normal. Overall though, a little boring and sad, despite having good music to keep company.
