Great game. Strange getting use to the new look. I hated it at first, because it's harder to read, but you get use to it. The graphics are really nice too, a definite improvement. Great job on this release, I really enjoyed the game (:
Challenging yet not too mind twisting. Fun when you're half asleep and your brain isn't workin right >.< Yea, 2am, fun :P But, loved this game, and like I said, it's challenging, but not too challenging. 5/5.
@Phlip wrong, it IS annoying, nothing wrong with Linux :/ You really that ignorant? It's the game, and it's annoying but just takes practice to getting use to.
In general, fun at first, but irritating until you can actually figure things out. Boss does get irritating, though I love the bonus, looks like the next game will be worth playing. 4/5
And to those who are having trouble on hard, it's simple. Focus on income! The one problem you might have are the incoming troops. Get a watch tower and increase it's range with a telescope, then increase your castles defense (but income income income asap). The watch tower has a LOT of damage and with increased range, it will keep your castle safe for a long time, saving money you would have spent on troops (don't be afraid to let your castle take a lot of damage).
I beat it on Easy and Hard, gave it a 3/5 for a few different reasons. It's really just an average game nothing special. First off, mute button. Need a mute button. Who nowadays creates a game without one? C'mon people! But that's not why the rating went down. It's fast, short, simple, though still has some gaming value and somewhat entertaining, and a decent challenge. Easy is just that, easy, good! I hate games that make easy really hard >.< And hard is.. well a challenge. But, more than anything, lack of extensive gameplay and short nature of the game reduced my score. Good base for a game though the creators definitely have potential. Oh, also, the intro was annoying as hell, it was long and loud, nobody likes those! But, average game, average score, 3/5.
And btw I know levels are made drastically easier to gain when put down but still, I dunno, doesn't seem very noob friendly. Kinda a let down, ya know? Just one man's opinion, take it or leave it.
Honestly I found this a terrible game. I found it irritating how slow you level up, and how fast you can go back to basic, starting ALL over again, fun... yea, not really, shouldn't go all the way back, gets frustrating... 1/5, otherwise an easy 4/5
Poorly constructed game. Too repetitive and the explosions are ridiculous. And knowing I wouldn't blow up but the explosion would carry through me is a bit odd and a huge down on points. Needs smaller explosions that don't reach cars nearly 20ft (which explode in range) and then maybe one could go through this game at a decent rate. 1/5, seen much better.
Good concept, terrible way of going about it. Losing a single battle or using a helpful shrine takes away so much, it's hardly worth playing on. Also takes way too much time looking at items and figuring out what you want to do. Sometimes spend more time looking for items than actually playing, which makes no sense :/ Overall I'd rate 2/5 for it's huge downfalls.
Wave 17 has a lot to do w/ luck, very frustrating playing over and over the SAME stages if you lose to him on Epic, gets old fast, down to 3/5 for very few checkpoints, very very bad feature. With that I'd give an easy 5/5 though, needs more saves! 3/5.
Would give an easy 5/5, but the lack of ability to save as often as one may want causes frustration and repetition. For that, would have to lower to a 4/5, not like the creator cares but there's my 2cents.
For horses, just block (down) and attack after he passes (attack from behind basically). But, some units are just... I mean wow, when it's 2 on 1, that's like imba, and then once got a 3v1 near start?! Uhhh yea, auto death? Lame. Needs LOTS of work but old game that's dead to the creator, other than the cashflow :P 2/5, needs lots of work, but really good start.
Some levels like 9 are impossible w/ current level, and get rather annoying when you've gotta repeat over and over to get enough exp to advance, and some level designs it seems are specifically made to annoy users. Preferred first one, but the storyline you tried to add was kinda interesting, i'll give ya that much. 4/5
Oh btw, if the developer reads these, maybe giving more details on characters like initial damage/health would be a huge benefit. Much easier to form a strategy when we know what we're doing >.<
Is it just me or does this game get harder the more times you try a level? Maybe I'm just tired but it's annoying >.< I thought I was doing the same strategy? Hm.... Also, is it worth upgrades? Anyone know? The lasers seem to deal less worth against missles, as opposed to mass lasers, is that true or am I just a bit out of it today?
