Like other people have mentioned, the game has way too much grinding. If you made it so that upgrades to creatures also increased the amount of crystals you get for killing them, that could be a good way to speed things up a bit.
I see a lot of people talking about having to click over and over again to attack.. Go with Warrior, put a point into Multi Strikes and use it with Life Leech. When you get mobbed, your guy hacks them all apart with a single click. Hope this helps!
This game just keeps getting better and better! The system makes it a game I have returned to every day since the game itself was released! Great Job CritGame! I do have a question for you though, would you be able to incorporate MASSIVE RAID BOSSES that people can click to participate in like those other BA games on Kong? That'd be an awesome way to release those Set Items people keep asking about!
Just purchased the full game as well as the soundtrack. I don't see why you guys are so hung up on it being a demo, the developer has expertly delivered a top notch game that I believe is worth every penny, if you notice, it says that until a certain date you'll also receive free updates for expansions as well. Well done LevelUpLabs
Every hero has obvious strengths and weaknesses. Take the warrior (paladin later) for example. Tons of health and the ability to evade damage means he can practically hold the line on his own, especially if you give him the mace later, lightning just tears baddies up. Green is a strong leader, like a Captain, if you give him a sword and keep his cloak his guard units are ridiculously effective. And finally the mage, definitely support. Keep the bag on her for the extra heals and switch to mace later to give free abilities to the other heroes.
Warrior: "This shield is incredibly useful for blocking attacks, I just pwn at surviving" Mage: "This bag of tricks helps heal me up for the next assault, and every time I get a new one it's 10x better than the last!" Horseman: "Gee, my cloak helps me lead, good thing I've got an army of clerics, macemen, and archers on my line, we'd be pretty much screwed otherwise!"
I must say I'm rather impressed with the game thus far. By the way, cacao beans sell in Tortuga for 230. So if you're smashing ships and come across some cacao save it for Tortuga
The kill builder/recruit/mage cards are highly useful, especially on the higher difficulties. If you notice it says "Player will always have at least 1 unit" So if he's got 3 or 4 and you've only got 1, you can whittle him down to your level until you get the cards you need to get the ball rolling.
