seems like it takes a little too long for things to progress past having one tower, which means that the game is pretty silent as your music stops when you move your tower. i think this game has potential, but i think it needs some changes.
Don't upload games that are only like 25% done at best, man. Also, this game is either more complex than it's worth or you need to explain how it works better.
interface could use a little more polish and care, but the gameplay is pretty solid. wish i felt a stronger connection between the music and gameplay, though.
very familiar gameplay mechanics and i didn't feel like i was doing anything to influence the music, which is what i think is the most important quality for games in this contest. doesn't seem awful or anything though. 3/5.
very cool. impressive visuals, but i wish the music was integrated a little better. i don't like that my ability to influence the soundtrack and my desire to play the game well are at odds with one another, as driving fast makes it harder to stay on the waveform zone. also, some of the sounds could be better integrated into the music. the worst case of this is the afterburner sound, it just drowns out the music and is abrasive to my ears rather than being part of the soundtrack.
also, for a pure gameplay note: why are the airbrakes even there? seems like there's no reason to use them.
very impressive, though. 4/5.
a little too clever for its own good, maybe. 3/5 for a really neat concept, but i found it confusing and not much fun. also, the compose mode was really buggy for me. notes wouldn't save correctly and the interface just isn't as friendly as it could be.
I agree
