@supermatt that is not storage, that is how much metal is still in the ground for your extractor to extract. there is a limited amount of metal in each square you build your extractor on.
after playing for months, the only thing i really want for this game is a better way of gaining points to spend at the trader besides selling cards and worrying that im going to need them again and regret selling them.
I love how the developer is watching the comments, even though there sadly aren't very many. Hey Null will you ever upload larger versions/wallpapers of the other faction's ships not just the main ships for the human faction.
@ghostcheetah sounds like you need to put more energy generating structures into your deck. I would also recommend using cards that reduce enemy attack (rivi'i are good at this) so many slots end up being filled by enemy units with 0 attack. For the overpowered random ability cards thats why its always good to have a lost mine or similar to destroy any troublesome ship instantly. As a side note i have run into AI enemies with crappy hands occasionally, it makes for a somewhat boring round.
personally i thought the story was great, really fleshed out some of the factions and gave them personality though in two occasions the sci-fi mumbo jumbo made me cringe,
for everyone who wants to know how to use the capsule elevators (or at least how i used them). you go on it to go up and press down while on it to deactivate the elevator. now to turn it back on again just bring up your inventory and it should reactivate.
3 fixes/modifications within 24 hours of releasing the game? now that's impressive. Not only that, but after so long there's finally a game satisfies my need to dig and gather resources. i never felt Motherload did enough. for me its the best game so far this year and definitely in my top 5.
ok, to clear some things up about gaining land. in my experience in order to get land you need to do quests. once land is obtained by these land quests the land will appear in the top right corner of the map of your island where you click it and place it somewhere, it is really easy to spot trust me if you have land to put down you'll see it. now if the there isn't a picture of land in that corner then the game has lied to you and you don't actually have land to place, it seemed to do that a couple times after just starting the game
if i can defeat a lvl 30 enemy (the boss of zul'gurub no less) with a character half his level something is terribly terribly wrong. still a very fun game though.
something i would suggest to people who don't like the waiting system is to go wizard and use healing/energy generation cards. I'm only at lvl 8 and i can manage a 2 min wait at maximum and even get away with full health and energy for a 0 min wait. basically with dmg reduction and a sumoned wall i am protected from dmg while i use an uber powerful weapon (because of a spell) and energy gen cards to get out of the battle good as new.
@ toomarc when you ran a mission without flying units was that on missionn 58, you know, the mission that the achievement specifically states is the only one that, beating without air units, qualifies you to win the achievement
daily chance (which is more like every 24 hours, not daily) can give you up to 25 war bonds though sometimes the chance of getting that much isn't even there.
@ tupptupp personally i think that more ammo types is enough of an advantage for people who play more and while having achievements for no reason other then bragging rights is fine i dont think that they should give bonuses. (unless they are purely cosmetic like unlocking new tank shapes, new maps, and possibly neater colors and visual effects from certain ammo
@ Owlish 1 there is a similarly named card called mind wipe which gets ris of alot more card (entire hand i think) and it is easy to confuse the two it took awhile for me to realize that. 4. shield thing (the gray shield next to the ship i think you are talking about) is the ships armor and reduces all dmg to the ship by that number. ex. if shield=3 and attck= 5 then dmg = 2
