@doomed11 Perhaps your good general were placed in Commander. It's wise to put a bad General in the Commander slot. To make the Commander a good use, make sure he can do proc damage (Chance for bonus damage) and equip him with proc damage equip. Yeah, people shouldn't hate those who spend money on this game. Instead, we should be happy because they're helping the developers to earn money for their hard work. Besides, free-players can get everything equally. You can get tons of Planet Coins for free as long as you have the skill, luck and perseverance. There are newbies who see's the game in first sight and start to hate due to their fail belief.
