Glad to see the old game having been rebaked into a formidable shape. Difficulty compared to other TDs is easy to medium, depending which upgrades are used at what time, Wave 10+ gets challenging. Wave 20 features a boss. Also you can freely redo levels without penalty.
An achievement page and tooltips to see what each achievement was awarded for, would be nice. Also hints to unlock them, on each achievement would be great.
Survival Mode - the ultimate fight: "LAG vs. Boredom"! It really gets funny after wave 45+ when your screen is full of mobs & bullets you can't kill quickly enough. Only got to wave 52 myself due to a slip-up, but never had to use any leech bomb before that. :P Here my setup: Red Hull r5 (Armor), 4x Laser, 4x Homing Modifier, 2 Split Modifier, 1x Affliction Modifier, 1x Acid Modifier, 2 Ship Shields, Leech Bomb. All in all you just have to dodge the big blobs of bullets and you can probably go on and on and on, past wave 75 with that setup. + if you find this helpful. PS: Also a very good setup for boss fights!
Small Bug with load option - there is no wheel after finishing the story and loading the same save again, meaning it becomes impossible to see the ending again (by loading at least).
Lovely, compared to hardcore TDs. Refreshing after playing weeks of Gemcraft and Cursed Treasure, much quicker, faster and easier to play. Altho the hard badge isn't really hard, compared to gemcraft (endurance + skill) & cursed treasure (endurance + luck). Made this observation after beating 10/20 maps. ;)
Apparently Temple of the Monkey God is pretty weak itself, but it gains new feats for DIFFERENT tier 4 towers... also sacrifising one temple for another makes all existing feats (on sacrifised temple) go to waste.
This is the very first Bloons Tower Defense that got me by storm, didn't really like 1-3 from what i remember and had'nt even noticed that there is a fourth one. :P Definitely my favorite Bloons TD so far... badges here i come! ;)
Today's Daily Badge Tip: Go for bounciness as much as you can, secondarily improve launching speed and strength, forget that luck skill... totally useless, unless you find many of those rare chests and have it as high as your primary skills. Finished with 3/4 Beast Evo myself, the skill to use obstacles as additional bouncing material was EXTREMELY HELPFUL, since the higher you go, the more obstacles there are... and they usually stop your fall (unless they are weak themself :P). Happy flying everyone and + if you kongregate this. ^^'
Good game so far (campaign finished) just found lvl 14 and 15 pretty challenging (= anooyingly hard). And there i was thinking this was a shooter at first sight...
Here some suggestions (rather messed around ^^'): Add a "Beta Universum" where all people are send that were inactive for xx days, to free the current universe of completely inactive galaxies. Access to both universums on the same server would be still possible, just that no one from Alpha (active) can switch to Beta. While players from Beta get moved back to Alpha when they finally log back in. Not a big friend of deleting accounts myself... as it's impossible to always play whatever the circumstances - not there for x months = delete - sucks obviously, even more when people played weeks/months or even years beforehand or more terrible... paid money. The Beta universum could also feature sorted by power galaxies, so ppl can more smoothly find easy prey to atk. Cleaning up the database of less than 1 million power inactive players again... would be a nice addition, since everyone goes beyond 1m within the first days of gameplay.
"Preparing Phase 2..." *kekeke* Ok my review: YOU MUST DAMN PLAY THIS, even if you dislike puzzle games completely and never bothered with portal (you know that orange box piece by Valve... or something ;)). Good: Interface is superbly done, no flaw to see, would probably fit every recent sci-fi flash/unity game; difficulty level is from easy to hard, the further you get, the more complex it becomes, while it's still a good average for everyone playing puzzle games the first time; enough fun for a short while. Negative: Sound effects could be better (out of time usually & the end sequence/s for example), 5th Module is dragging on and on... having 14 stages and a bonus one. All in all, it's a must play for everyone calling themself Kong(regate) fans.
Nice Artwork and music, just... the movement speed is a "bit" slow (needs an increase of about 4 times). "Running" around takes forever like this, makes the game worse than it deserves to be.
