You'll play this game for a good hour and then find out that the game is a Stamina game with a cap of 100 Stamina of which you spend 20 per mission. The level cap is 30, I was super stoked and excited when I tried it out at first but now I don't feel it's even worth my time anymore. The developers are active so there is room for growth but the game as it is right now simply feels incomplete, I have been playing for about 6 hours now so I feel my opinion can be helpful here. The game is fresh, the dialogues are really good and the whole idea of the concept is brilliant, I hope it goes far but I can already say that it's not for me so I wish everyone playing the best of luck.
I'm going to give a true opinion based playing a TON of different MMOs
Biggest Cons: Automated battles, P2W Enhancement Mechanics, Confusing Interface and of course an Energy System, doesn't provide something unique as a game on itself. - Biggest Pros: Anime fanservice, Great Storyline, Nice community, the possibility to play with other players outside of Kongregate as it's cross-platformed, very competitive with lots of new servers and people aiming for #1. Know what you get yourself into, I got hooked on games before but I've outgrown it, games like these can be nice though especially with nice pixels to look at but it's not for me. 5/5'd it regardless for other Kongsters who might enjoy this to not be a douche, That'd be all.
If you cannot make up your mind about whether this game is worth your time or not maybe this helps: The battles are automated, from level 20 or so it becomes with a steep curve of strategy involved by rearranging your team etc. This will also remain the main focus of the game, Team building based on PvP or PvE scenarios. The game has a system build within that discourages Pay to Win as it isn't VERY rewarding, I've seen Non-P2W players doing better than P2W. The balance in this game is very well established, there are a lot of events and things to do. This is the type of game you can pop into casually without losing too much progress. The downside to all is really is that you need some patience to get to the good part, Getting to Level 20 can be done in about 1.5 hour quite easily and from there the game really starts to take off. Big plus for me: Kongregate dedicated server.
It would be really nice if the amount of friends could be increased to 30 or 40 by base and then have the ability to purchase more slots. 10 Friends is simply too little for a community driven game. Every + this post gets counts as a petition support for this idea.
Why even bother bringing out a cross-platform game to Kongregate.
Nobody will really attempt playing this game.
This might become one of the top games ever if it wasn't cross-platform.
Hopefully it will change in the future but I kind of consider this an insult towards the Kong Community to bring out a game like this it doesn't have it's own dedicated server for Kong. 1/5 until it gets fixed.
