It becomes basically impossible to play the game past round 100 due to the lag on the screen. I don't know how well this would work, but is there any possible way we could disable animation. You have to have MOAB destroying towers, and the bomb towers are the main reason the screen lags. Having a way to turn off animation could help.
This may be obvious, but for some of the more expensive upgrades, it may be cheaper to buy a monkey village and just sell it immediately after the upgrade(s) are purchased.
I've only played this game on my labtop and I'm not sure if this is an issue with just my labtop or the game but whenever I play it, the screen is always zoomed in and I don't have the option to zoom out. To fix this, zoom in once, then you can zoom out twice so the game fits the screen.
I submitted a report about lost gold and never heard back from Disruptor Beam :( I urge everyone to refrain from purchasing gold until this issue is solved.
Okay as far as I know the game doesn't explain what the hell the numbers on the side mean, it took me the first section of the easy levels to figure it out but maybe I'm just slow. The number is how many blocks is in the row that you need to highlight, if it is a 3 it means there are 3 blocks next to each other. If it is three 1's in a row that means there is still 3 you have to highlight but they are not next to each other. A 2 and a 2 for example means there are 4 blocks in the row you have to highlight but the 4 are split in half so that there are two sets of 2's touching each other. Sorry if that didn't make sense but if I can get it, you'll get it eventually.
For the Mousebreaker Badge ensure that you have completed the game so you have all skills unlocked. For relics, use soul heal. My strategy was to only use the standard attack and the projectile attack with spacebar, your projectile attack will destroy the projectile objects thrown at you and will cut down those pesky spiders. Also use shift as much as possible, when shifting you teleport to wherever your mouse is. So if there is a group of enemies just shift to them regardless of whether it has recharged or not. Odds are you'll get the BP back anyway. Also hit the "f" key as much as possible to go into "god mode". In god mode I simply jammed the spacebar to get unlimited projectiles. Amasses 15+ kills in one session easy. Finally don't spam the heal, wait until you are at 75% health to use it and simply run in one direction attacking so you won't get hit, also do not spam the shift button in heal mode as you'll burn through the BP needed to heal. I hope this helped.
In the boss fight with Needle (final area, first boss in the arena), if your shadows cannot be stunned, bashed, etc. your characters shouldn't be either.
Not being allowed to use the rogue almost made me quit this game before starting. In my opinion the warrior, mage, and rogue (the three basic classes) should all be usable without purchase. I can understand all the other classes that require purchase, but this is just greedy now.
My guide on the last badge as of January 21. Gameplay may change as the devs update it. Max out all 3 starter and final spells and the upgrades to the left of them. Then buy all 3 spell boons (10% less cool down). After that I used gargoyle for the 4th square and all 3 max spells for the final square (I'll explain below). After that, upgrade arrows and spells to max dmg, fire rate, etc. The key is switching out spells. As of now, spells only recharge when kept in the 5 usable spells squares. Use the first 3 spells as often as you can, but only your max spell when you're in a tight situation, otherwise keep on switching them out when they are recharged. For example, if I used all 3 max spells I would let the death spell recharge, then switch to the fire spell and let it recharge. Remember to use gargoyle to heal. If you have questions feel free to message me!
The customer system could use some work. Customers continuously ask for items (which I have in bulk) that I am currently saving to use in the future either as city upgrades or pre requisites for other higher level items. Unfortunately, items I do have that I want to sell, especially anti venom and other sorceress made potions are rarely asked for. I know there are other solutions for this such as the auction house and "suggesting" items. However, these items often flood the trade house and it becomes nearly impossible to sell while "suggesting" items rarely yields results as my customers are "very angry" with me. Because of this, I have been in what you might call a slump the past few levels. Just my two cents, maybe I'm a bad player, but I feel like if I'm having these issues there will be at least one other person with these problems too.
There are a lot of things I wish this game had. Too bad I bet the devs won't even read my comment. 1) A bar that shows the health of the vehicle and the player in FUBAR mode would make the challenge so much easier. 2) When I'm repairing my vehicle in FUBAR why can they shoot at me but I can't shoot at them??? 3) Fix the lag, a flash game of this quality (no offense) should not have this much lag on my fairly new computer. Adding these small changes would probably significantly increase your rating, as I know I would raise mine. Please at least consider adding these and don't brush it off with a response like "yeah that would have been cool."
1)nah, not consistent and its supposed to be hard. its a challenge mode. 2)Why can't you shoot them? 3)there's a million suggestions to fix the lag issues, if you tried all of them and they don't work, then I guess you can't play it, sorry :(. No need to be a dick about it, but yeah that would have been cool (not)
