For those that are having trouble with staying alive for 12 minutes in survival, I will tell you what spells and strategy I used to get it in my first try. I used the Lightning, Spirit Blade (You have to buy this with 3 scarabs), Skeleton, Reaper, Soul jar, and Earthquake. All spells should be at level 3. Also buy all upgrades that cost 1 scarab. So at the start of survival I summoned a reaper and skeletons and just kept on spawning them when they died. Then I waited until they got overpowered so much that the enemies were on floor 5. At that point you should earthquake the floor whenever it reaches 25%. Use the soul jar spell as much as possible. Just use the Spirit Blades and Lightning spells to lower the Sun King and Champion’s health and the reaper will finish them. I was able to get 12 minutes very easily doing this. I loved this game. 4/5, i would rate it 5/5 if:
1.There were hot keys for boosts because i hate moving my mouse back to the bottom of the screen and wasting time while money disappears
2.Upgrade system included a money magnet or something to make the money stay longer
3.The penguins might grow some brains and walk around obstacles
4.Instead of #3, let us be able to control a penguin and walk him around the obstacles.
5.In a sequel add some more upgrades :)
Overall this was a really good game and I favorited it but it has room for improvement :) I hope to see a sequel (maybe about the turtles fighting back?)
anyone else having problem with the mayor achievement? I've probably killed him at least 3 times now. If so +, or if not i guess it's just my computer?
Well honestly the only way I see to beat the 2nd boss (which I did on the first try with this strategy) is to use the co-op option and set player 1 and player 2 witht he same controls, which you can do in the option menu. Kinda lame IMO but it worked for me pretty well. 4/5 Good game, this has a lot potential and I hope a 2nd one that's even better well be released soon. Please + to keep this alive.
frusterating but kudos to you for creating a pretty decent game in 48 hours. Im sure if you had more time it would be better. One reason i gave it a low rating is because I wasn't sure if the box is even suppose to go inbetween the lines because it keeps falling and then i get zapped my lasers. An upgrade system would add to the fun, good job and keep on working on it.
THis game will probably never get badges because if it does, it shows Kongregate is supporting the assault of Justin Bieber and therefore be sued. It is unfortunate but true. + so we stop getting so many god damn comments saying "needs badges"
So for anyone who saw Green Lantern which was an ok movie, did any of you notice it was alike this game? I mean they use fear and willpower while desire is used in this game. "Immortals" were able to harness the 3 powers. The "immortals" give these powers to a selected group and they can have anything they want? Loved this game. Any thoughts?
For those of you who have high upgrades and want the snowman achievement w/o starting a new game, buy the ramp in the bonus shop for 100 BP and set the ramp as low as it will go and then play, + if this helped?
