tried it again but the enemy ships still fire too fast, at the half way point you fight 2 tires, that is the bullet speed the other enemy ships should have. also how do you even kill those tires? they have way too much health
Thank you for revisting the game. I just updated it again with more adjusting, including reducing bullet speed by a lot, as well as the speed from the missiles from later levels. I also added a new powerup system which I hope might help balance the game a little more and make it more fun. ( see instructions or in-game guide for more on that :)
As for the tires ( updated the model to look less tire-like haha ), they're are the only enemy that is indestructible. The goal with them is to simply dodge through the pattern their bullets make. I tried to indicate their invulnerability with a "null" type sound when your bullets hit them.. I updated the sound to make it more prominent, hopefully that helps some.

Thanks for your feedback, man! Just uploaded a new version where I tweaked the size of the ship and some other elements, adjusted the enemy fire rate, and added autofire!
Thanks - I have had playthroughs where everything drops shields as well. It is actually random, but maybe the chance of a certain item dropping should decrease in proportion to other items when it has been dropped. I'll look in to it!
great game, but when playing from a distance its hard to see what room i'm in on the mini map, could you change it from an outline to and X in the room. Thanks
