I feel this game is innovative in its crafting system, its henchmen, and its allowance of basic free-roaming. There is a lot of customization available which makes it better, and did i mention how much i love the freedom alloted.
I also absolutely adore the art, and my only real wish if for a quality button to lower the quality so it runs a little better on my pc. Otherwise i think it rocks. I'm especially fond of the swapping your limbs bit.
The skills though seem a bit underpowered for what they cost in energy, but the game itself is not lacking from this feature. I also find that your implimentiation of percentages in the game may be confusing to some. For instance, is the 12% on the vampirism skill a 12% damage to life ration, or is it 12% of the time you drain the life. Thank you for such a fun zombie game. ^.^
5/5
The librarian does not get nearly as much points as everyone else. His skills are amazing, but he gets so few points its hard to make him viable. Even the detective is quite useful.
The characters all have a great balance, I love the feeling of the game, and my only real wish with this, is that there was more of a moral dilema and scale with each of the characters, or that you got more of their motivations. Jake is the crazy paladin type of thought(think punisher). Librarian is more monk like. Last is much more nature and animalistically inclined. The other two I have no idea whats going on with really...
It gets a 4/5 for being an overall fantastic game with a great mood.
The sound continues through each play and each play starts a new loop, making a horrific sounding track on second and third play through. The art is commendable, but the play itself is lacking. I second the dating sim idea on this one and possibly making this a minigame within. Otherwise this isn't alltoogood. 2/5 for overall bad gameplay but a solid attempt at the artwork, which i commend.
"Mommy, what do you want for Christmas?" "Oh a metal baseball and a boomerang, now go tell your father." I am afraid of whatever woman wants a metal bat for christmas...
Game difficulty is reliant upon what you find, making this game incredibly difficult. While chance is good, not getting any weapons in a wave spells death. Maybe some tweeking on that, but otherwise i love the concept.
Comments: 1. Clicking on targets gives the game a different kind of difficulty, and top-downs shouldn't require precision. 2. The colors against that background are painful on the eyes. 3. There isn't much going on as far as story, nor is there much movement from the opponents. 4. I am no flash game maker, and what little i know of it the process is difficult, so this is a solid effort. If you keep learning more you could make some decent games. Sadly this one only gets a 2/5
its a difficult game, and when they die it hurts a lot. I will give it a 4/5 because its an awesome idea, and I love games that are from the opposing side. So a tower defense game where you are trying to break into the defenses, they always amaze me. This one is more from the perspective of a DM, its nice. ^.^
Solid game. I find my favorite part being the make your own gun. Making a gun with the same specs as one of the others, gets you that gun cheaper. The intro is entirely out of sinc and has nothing to do with the rest of the game though. 4/5
It would have 3/5 but there are zombies and the music is fanciful. Like we were going to a carnival where all the games involved killing zombies. Thats my kind of carnival, so a 4/5... Zombies generally get a +1 on my rate a game scale.
For a game like this I feel like it should be turn based... Its so fast paced, and im having trouble actually selecting targets. The whole dragging thing is truthfully a drag. I absolutely adore this concept... I just wish it wasn't near impossible to control your units and too hard to choose who is evolving in a cluster of them. 3/5 for a fantastic concept that just needs a few improvements.
Noooooooooooo, I want to play as the undead! They are my favoritest ever! T.T
Any game that lets me play as undead things is a winner in my book... >.> Oh well, I will just... Play as something else thats less cool. ^.^
Nicely done, its a really solid game, that isn't too hard and overall pleasant. Still gives you that feeling of accomplishment for actually winning too. ^.^
