Okay, for anyone who wants the meaning of the ending spoiled (there's a lot of meaning throughout the rest of the game too), here's my take on it. The whole game was actually just a fantasy of the guy retrieving his dead wife's spirit from the underworld. When you return to where you started, it's revealed that your character is just a fantasy, and the real you is still standing on your wife's grave. The fantasy of both yourself and your wife's spirit then vanish as you're confronted by cold hard reality -- that no one ever comes back from the dead, even in spirit form. Excuse me, but I have something in my eye...
Hey guys, the badges were a bit bugged, so I had to take them off the site. Sorry! But hold onto your save files; you should be able to get them awarded again very soon.
Lots of game developers can attest to the fact that I can be a bit of a grinch when it comes to sponsoring seasonal games, but this game was the rare exception that put a smile on my face, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Badges are here! Its rating is 4.10 right now; if that holds up pretty well with the new exposure, I'll probably add a harder badge later, maybe for arcade mode or something...
Guys, quit spamming the comments and this guy's profile with accusations that the game is stolen. If you visit his website (linked to within the actual game), you can see a message about the game being posted here, along with a link to this very page. If you believe a game is stolen, just flag it and move on. Please don't vocalize your concerns in the comments or on the developer's profile.
The Spartan badge is FINALLY fixed, and it should no longer be awarded to anyone who doesn't kill all 300 Spartans. The normal difficulty has also been toned down a bit.
Okay! Spartan badge is fixed, and the player-favoring glitch with dying in campaign mode and earning the hard badge has been fixed. Yeah, I fail at life.
I know it's totally cool to hate on PETA and everything, but this game is actually not that bad. I ended up playing it all the way though about a year ago. The way it presents its message is a little cheesy and over the top, but there's some good humor to be had, too.
