So it appears that there are some graphical glitches and weird states happening following the latest update (Jan 13th) -- particularly in Tournament -- that weren't present in the testing phase leading up to this patch. Anyone who's affected by a problem like this, type 'log' into the game window and you'll be prompted to save a log .txt file.
