Great puzzle game! Took a while to figure out how to work it, though. I'd like an auto-move to keep something flipping its way in one direction until it stops.
As a mathematician, the interesting part I find about the game is the logic AFTER you've done the arithmetic computations. I'd rather have the basic nonsense done for me by the helper so I can enjoy the raw logic of putting it together. You have the combinations memorized soon enough anyway, and the helper is only there for those whose memories are somewhat behind their logic abilities.
I agree that this shareware crap is obnoxious. Advertise it once, if at all. As for the game itself, gameplay accelerates little and slowly, and the $100 per stage needs to increase. I'm not going to keep playing to get enough to buy upgrades I don't really need anyway.
After the lost soul, there's just a golem and a dragon. The leveling is far too slow, the fights are not entertaining, and there's no story. A good RPG is more than just running from fight to fight. Graphics are meaningless, so no worries on that account. It's a good start, but add some detail!
Fun idea, but it needs some improvements. For starters, a pause button would be highly appreciated. More importantly, a GRG color match should trigger if I pick up GGRG, rather than reset itself at the second green. I DID fulfill the pattern. That it will trigger on GRG and GGGRG but not on GGRG is a frustratingly silly game mechanic.
