I'm awful at this... can't even get above a thousand. Why is it so fun? I asked the happy bus sign for advice but he just wanted to talk about his relationship problems.
After playing Defensive mode I see that "armor" is base health and not related to the player character's health. Ancillary thought: am I the only one who reads 'FN SCAR' as F*ckin' SCAR?
Small, decent game. Maybe it's just me, but I found it quite easy to "pull" the cursor off the flash window and confuse the game. I'm curious to know if others have this problem.
Very short. Seems kinda silly to get rammed by a car piloted by two dead guys. I kept trying to fire while reloading the uzi and it seemed like that gave me infinite ammo (after reloading my ammo never went down). Otherwise it's a decent game that's fun for a few minutes.
Needs much better explanation. On level two, I've just attacked and beaten Outskirts. I can't choose to attack either the Purple Mines or the Enemy Base but I can attack the Outskirts again? So what was accomplished by beating Outskirts the first time?
Nice, simple game. The difficult part is coming up with a creative and fun way to add depth for lasting appeal. Maybe a level/skill system with abilities like tower-color rune attraction or something? Or maybe include this as a mini-game portion of a larger game...
Okay, I've played it a bit more and worked out some of my problems. To proceed to the next sector, you have to continually clear higher difficulty rooms. Eventually you'll proceed to the next sector. I suppose you can run through the smaller rooms to farm credits before progressing. Portions of the shop are unlocked with each new sector. The X-Pulse mod is pretty cool. :) Hope that clears up a few things. Good work on the game, soybean.
Why in god's name does it take so long to unlock new equipment? I have almost 30k credits but can't buy anything because it's arbitrarily locked? Grrr.
A fun little platformer. My only complaint is about the skeletons in the last fight: You get lagged by their attacks even if you kill them before you get hit, sometimes randomly with no skeletons around.
Fishing is so boring one must constantly consume alcohol to make it tolerable. Since this is a simulation, I simulated intoxication by drinking window cleaner. I vomited on my keyboard, my office now smells bad, and I didn't have any fun.
Not very fun at all, really. Almost every aspect of the game is annoying: ship speed, mediocre upgrades, upgrades flying by with no hope of getting them, instant death from enemies entering from the side...
It seems like a good game but the enemy encounters take way too long. Every 5-10 steps you hit another encounter only to sit and watch the attack bars slowly fill up...
