I just had an error very similar to thecow_12345, played in a ranked match against a lvl 3 (he had 5w/4l, forgot the username). I got a you lost message.
Holy shit, I just noticed the word 'kike'.
How did this make it to front page? Mods? This is ridiculous. The game isn't even good enough to forgive that word.
The 5 card games can take a very, very, long time with all of the switching and whatnot.
I thought it might be fun to have a version without being able to switch your cards out, which would be a different kind of rock-paper-scissors.
The lack of balance for Zina in 5 cards also needs to be addressed.
Two comments:
1. The better players will get more cards and become better players --> a lot of people will have to seriously grind to be on par with others.
2. I want to be able to trade in cards I have duplicates of for other cards.
We should be allowed to re-choose cards, or somehow return cards for another.
I picked phoebe at the beginning, before I had played the game, not knowing she is one of the weaker cards. I've just earned her again on the bubble challenge. Duplicates and choosers-remorse have sent me into a downward spiral of depression which can only end in a pint of ben and jerry's.
Please, I can only eat so much ben and jerry's.
The control issues are TERRIBLE, the game speed is slow. If you are too weak of a game designer to make intuitive controls, at least force the player to learn all of the controls in the tutorial missions. The ships/tech are all uncreative, and thinking just a little bit about something fun/creative would help a lot.
This would be a good beta, but it's a terrible final version.
A ton of really big issues. The level system is useless up until they get maxed, there should be no random encounters, the ending blows, the music is annoying.
