The comments to this game make me mad. People whine and complain about how there's pixel hunting, how there's no direction, no purpose, just walking. That's what makes creepy and interesting. The story is super awesome if you look into it, and the graphics are minimalistic but they work. Quit complaining over nothing.
This game bored me. It really did. It did remind me of shadow of the colossus, but it just flat out bored me. Your character runs slow, Navigation is extremely tedious, and of course the monsters just decide to roar at the most crucial part of the level (doing a hard jump after no checkpoint for a while) making you die frustratingly. It's not a bad game, it's well made, I just don't like it. 3/5
This game is horrible. To back up my claim, here's the dialog from the weapon shop (All spelling errors are not my fault, that's how they were)
"Hey, You must be a lucky guy! Iam boring to be an Iron Man recently and try to experience the fun of manufaturing joint weapons. Look, made by Stark, definitely high-quality! Do you want one? I can give discount"
The ending is actually very very sad if you look at it in a certain light. Your friend was getting very old at the end of the cave and if you wouldn't of jumped in, he would of waited for you until he died. He would of died alone and yet still oblivious, thinking his friend would come along eventually.
Firstly, the levels seem WAY too long. It's too easy and too boring for me to be interested in it. Secondly, like others say, the upgrades are ridiculous. I don't want health! Being low HP is fun as it serves a challenge. I'd rather be an assassin than being a giant tank.
Although the ending is sad, it feels incredibly "Hey! Know how you spent 30 minutes collecting all those pixels? Well, you die and they're all gone! Good job!"
Only a few complaints (actually more like a dozen): Hit detection can be very sloppy at times, your allies are as dumb as a post, obstacles (Like for example: those damn lazers from the ufos on the alien stage) can be too interfering and game changing, and lastly, if you fall into a pit (which happens a lot due to the fact that you slide around like a fat kid on a newly waxed floor) you can rarely ever recover from it.
No matter what the naysayers say, I like this game more than the famous "Toss the Turtle". More unlockables and stuff to do, and there's way more humor and pop culture references.
I would actually of had a fun time if the challenge wasn't "oh you have to have the top score in RWK to get a good one in this game". I dunno about this one. I like the music and stuff more, but it's just TOO hard.
If you can tough it out through level 5, you will be treated with very easy yet fun gameplay and a super cute story that will even make the strongest of men smile.
