Maybe I've lost my mind, but I noticed the exact same problem when I was doing all gold. I replayed Level 11 several times on both all gold and all diamonds. Nothing ever even touched the kids, yet Level 11 refused to give 3 gold stars, and now it's doing it with diamonds to me also. I've had all upgrades for some time. Not sure if I'm missing a quick "touch" on the kids during the last wave, or if there is a bug. I first noticed it during all gold though, and thought it was weird. Anyone else running into this?
I love this game SO MUCH! I was very bummed to hear duerig has lost interest in completing Tile Factory 2. *cries* Hoping someone else will pick the project up and finish it.
I've put the source up on github at: https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FTile-Factory-Unbound%2Ftile-factory-unbound
I may come back to it at some point. Recently I've been toying with making something like Manufactoria or Jahooma's LogicBox. It would be stack-based and have a 2d scratch pad.
Classis game and well done. Only wish there was a pause button since I keep wrecking my time score chatting. Or maybe there is one and I just haven't noticed it yet :)
A pause button was a toss up for me... really gave it a lot of thought, but I ended up deciding not to include one since players could abuse it to study the board and plan their next move... unless I hide the game while it's paused... *starts thinking* EDIT: There actually IS a pause that I forgot about. Just press the scores button. That will pause your game :) EDIT 2: Pause implemented :)
yes and no. The level will keep replaying until the black ant gets home, then it will move to the next level. Each level is like the same as the last but has more to do and more to think about.
Very happy that somewhere in this is some of my artwork. Bummed that I am so bad at these kinda games that I'll never get to see which pics of mine they used XD. A HINT button woulda been a great additional feature. I'm still psyched this is finally released though! :D
Have you tried zooming out or panning the view?
