The best strategy in my opinion is the halberdier stratagey. You turn on auto send units and just send a stream of halberdiers. BTW, if you decide to do that, then use the undead for the +3 halberdier atk bonus

Wait for the enemy units to stop/slow in their advance for you to kill the other castle and have the end start coming. Then you don't have to deal with stupid little retards while you're killing the boss
