A vast improvement on the previous games. Although, the coins are pretty much pointless because you can't level up your energy above a certain point. Perhaps the addition of a shop, for shoes or hats or whatever would be good, as then you could choose between energy and items. Training are simple mini games and I have no issues with them, but they could have a little more thought behind them. Overall, fun to play. 4/5.
This game is already great in its own right, and making a story mode is something for the sequel. Concept, execution, music, even the name is just so clever. More variety would not go amiss, like having new enemies and different surroundings. You need to have progression in more than just the character, the level and enemies need to change as well to make it all feel worthwhile. Anyway, 5/5.
This game is pretty fun. Even though this is a level pack, it's nice to see that Cursed Treasure has originality with tower defense games. It actually incorporates a sort of reason to all the fighting, them trying to steal your gems, and you trying to protect them, rather than just running back and forth for no apparent purpose. Nice graphics and the music really helps keep the player intrigued throughout the 15 in-game levels. 5/5.
Nice game, good graphics, decent portraits, simple battle system, and a
colorful environment. Once you get used to the mechanics, it gets really fun.
Although, a few tweaks could make it better. The fact that you
had to come up with a user-centered-way to unstuck his own characters
rather than fixing the pathing problem detracts from the experience. The
controls are frustrating, and the menu layout could be improved. This game
is fun for a quick play-through, but it gets redundant once the same quests
start popping up. 4/5.
Amazing game. The combat requires such strategy, and the story is amazing. However, the fighting system, which at first was a lot of fun figuring out, I found became simple and that one strategy worked for all mages. Also the grammar and the dialogue seemed a little too silly and hard to take seriously when required to do so, and I felt that detracted from the quality of the game. 5/5.
Great game, great fun. However, it feels far too short. My biggest problem was how slowly the characters moved. There are far too much clicking for the simple commands. Other than that, 5/5.
This is a very expansive and fun platform game. Beautifully well-made, thought-out, and original old-school platformer. It's a very humorous game and I think it could use a very expansive sequel for hours of fun. The art style, overall game play mechanics, whimsical humor, and plot line really make this game shine. 5/5.
The labyrinth is an awesome new twist and is real fun to play. This is a fantastic addition to the series. Love the new mechanics and the little tweaks that improve on the old formula, like the freedom to pick gem color on creation. The changes that are made are all positive, and the core elements that made previous installations so awesome are still there. 5/5.
Great unconventional defense-game. Perfect amount of difficulty and length. Not too long where it gets repetitive and not too short to have people wanting more. There is a great array of blocks, monsters, and power-ups to keep the game from getting boring. That also adds to certain strategic block placements for certain monster waves. I love the complexity of this game design. 5/5.
This is a very good game, though it lets down a little by not being able to sell/delete things you've already placed on the screen. Never-the-less brilliant fun and nicely addictive. 4/5.
Great concept, but poor implementation. Inconsistent physics, delayed or nonexistent response from mouse, and extreme lag for no reason at certain points, as well as bad control. I guess it's better that it's clunky because it makes it more of a challenge. 3/5.
Equally as enjoyable as the first one. Somehow, this has managed to stay fresh and enjoyable. I thought it would be like, another achievement slogging boredom trip, but this one is very good, shop aspects and humor make it very entertaining. There is the same sense of replay value as there would be in any other game where people lust for achievement. 5/5.
A really charming adventure game. Beautiful art, music, and a really nice story concept. Not only is this latest offering rich in beauty and creativity, but the thematic concept of gradually compiling a story and being able to see the product develop is truly innovative. For a point and click adventure, this had the perfect balance of difficulty in finding the right things at the right time. I was rarely confused about what to do next, and thus was able to focus on the beautiful story and artwork instead. 5/5.
Very well constructed and fairly smooth. This game improved on all the components of the first game. The save feature being kept in the city is aggravating. There should either be an automatic save or a save button on the menu panel. 4/5.
Cute game. Simple, and without much of a storyline, but still entertaining. Some minor interface improvements would help. A save feature would be very useful and add to the overall enjoyment of the game, also giving even more replay value than there is already. I love the diversity of character choice with the long dungeons making it challenging enough. 4/5.
Beautiful and interesting game. Nice graphics, sound effects, wide variety of creatively made weaponry, and insects. Excellent work. To make it look more realistic, the blood should be a yellowish-brownish-greenish color. 5/5.
Love the game, great concept, and length is great. This game kept me immersed and I love all the new features. I really like the theme, and the combination of tower defense and shooter. 5/5.
The existing enemy emplacements made the levels a lot more exciting and promoting of strategy. The game interface is smooth along with the graphics. 5/5.
I like the concept and the game is reasonable and well executed, but the gameplay results in too much clicking, which brings up the "paused" box way too often, resulting in a bad gaming experience, which combined with too much grinding makes this less enjoyable. Any who, 4/5.
