Retired.

To my BYM friends,

I’ve been putting it off for as long as was practical, and now the time has come. I have recycled my map room today. It has nothing to do with my maxed yard, the recent victory, etc. It has boiled down to one simple thing: time. I have so very little of it left. Things are stable enough, and I will never again feel as great as I do right now, which certainly is not that great, but I’m ok with that; after all, I got what I chose, as the old saying goes. I’m at a good spot right now. There is still much of the outside world to see, even if it is just to go with my wife to the yogurt shop on the corner.

Thank you for humoring me, for indulging me in my fantasies and for helping me have fun.
