I finished in 160 days and 1.5million in the bank. It only took so long because I didn't realize you could upgrade the stats more than 10 until ~day 100. Once you get the stats to around 18-20 It's near impossible to lose.
Anyone else stuck on the boss?
I have ~95.8% of the gems, max level in everything (cept maybe relationship, I have 7 hearts though), all the post boxes, all the codex, all the abailities etc etc....
I say stuck on the boss because it's currently impossible for me. I've done the get the rocks to crash onto his head and understand that whole process, no problem. After I whittled all his health down he started regaining health from the gems, and now he's more than maxed out his health bar, it's much longer than the size of the screen and I can keep going indefinitely.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Key to gold for the later levels (18, 19, 20 etc) Find the spot on the level where you have to use 3 colors. Then expand from there by seeing which 2 colors are already touching the empty block, then use the third. Just using one color for as long as possible then switching doesn't work as well later in the game.
Quick Guide--- 4pts in Attack, 2 in Defense recommended. Buy the 50 gold weapon and 100 gold armor. Click TRAVEL, look at nearby towns for a low to medium good that will make you a decent profit (20% is pretty decent). Then, buy all you can of that good, travel to the new location and sell the stuff. Enroute, fight any ONE bandit, but run from more than 1.--- Repeat this process until you have 20,000 gold. Travel to a town with Cheap Diamonds (under 10,000), and buy 1 diamond, 10 cloth. Then go to vehicle and you can upgrade to the BEST vehicle in the game! Now, continue buy/sell, and be sure to HELP people laying in the road. They will give you cash and join you for free. As you do, equip them with adequate weapons/armor and you can then beat up baddies (or goodies) as needed.
I consider Sir Colin to be the absolute best, if you can control him (which really isn't all that difficult), he is top 3 fastest flippers, one of the fastest racers, very easy to get a rear wheelie going. The real best part is his short frame which means you can (with enough upgrades) get a minimum of a double front flip out of him off his normal jump. On the moon I just got x5 boost in the first 20 seconds just staying in one place and flipping. Finished first; with 116 front flips, and 96.69 seconds of airtime.
All you have to do is Kong Ant, then get to the high ground, convince your opponent to stand on the low ground and then spam the down attack, they get hurt when they try and jump up, and that pushes them away from the edge so they can't succeed.
