Well, I can definetly tell that this game needs a MUCH better 'Help" menu. I couldn't figure out how the hell to unlock butterflies. Seriously, how are you supposed to unlock stuff? I went and bought all sorts of food, which took a LONG freakin time to farm gold seeing as I only ahd the worm.....and uhhh I STILL couldn't unlock butterfly or anything.
Zero Tutorial. Crappy Help Menu. Trash Game.
It seems, even after implementing xp rewards on kill, it was set too low. I am not sure if this is the case in town 2 or 3 seeing as I can't level beyond 17 to see if there is an increase in xp rewards per kill or not. Although from the sounds of it, the rewards would be the same if the Orb and GP rewards are the same between towns 2 and 3.
One suggestion - Exp Giving Guards. instead of making some odd scaling requisits (5 kills, then 15, then 50, then 125, etc etc) give them a set interval to reward experience. For Example, every 50 kills = Exp. Simple. And letting them tell how many kills are needed would be GREAT if you don't take my suggestion and just give them set intervals, not a scaling interval, a set in stone interval.
Another suggestion, please do not tell others to NOT curse. It provokes us to do so more.
Also, a fourth thing - why force us to equip an IDLEmon, at later evolutions, with an autobattle token when before you get an IDLE IDLE IDLE IDLEmon evolved you do not require one?
Just... don't do that. Don't make people have to equip something to make an IDLEmon actually IDLE when they never required it before to do so. It's, to put it nicely and plainly, dumb. Absolutely dumb to do such a thing.
I was doing this so that in the end game when you have your strong monsters you can choose to either have them idle or control the moves they make. I wanted this included so that people can idle when they want to, but when battling strong opponents they could control the moves to make the most optimal choices for combat. Also the auto battle tokens are cheap, and I have a chest in game that gives 5 autobattle tokens. Thanks for your feedback!
EDIT: also the auto battle token goes in the charm slot, so you will still have your monster item slot.
Skeleton evolutions can use weapons, based on what class they are. Hope this helped!
First off, this game really needs a tutorial. I spent ten minutes clicking/moving around before I discovered the guy who gives your first monster.....then another 30minutes of dying and not being able to heal so having to start the game all over again. You at least helped this early game healing blunder by making first town inn free.
Secondly, the leveling is tremendously slow. My monster team is only level 17ish after hitting second town.... but still can't beat the first level of the challenge in the second town. I can't level up very fast at all. Cant beat the trainers past second town, can't beat monsters AT second town and it takes FOREVER to level in the first town, even for the first few levels EVEN WITH the experience guy.
Thirdly, why do monsters only get one equipment slot? Oh Boy! I can spend 300Gold that took me longer to get than it should have to increase one monster attack by.... 10 points....
At the very least make monster gear WORTH IT.
Tonight I am working in the update to increase xp gain from the reward lady. Also monster gear gets better as you progress, 10 is just what the first set gives. I will definitely be adding a tutorial, and hopefully condense some of the NPC's to take care of multiple rewards. Hope this helps and thanks for playing!
Also, Spring skill needs its timer upped a bit more. Even with the increased time you gave it, there are still times when there is no time to click the Spring button before enough trees (maybe two) spawn and then disables the button. Allow the button to remain open for 10 seconds after it is enabled no matter how many trees spawn by the time you can reach the button to click it. Not everyone has Auto Spring maxed out with arthur or even are able to use auto spring on the other two characters.
Not too bad of a game. the defense of trees needs to be lowered. as others have said, the defense values on the trees make unlocking other tree levels meaningless since the base defense of the trees grows much much faster than Chop Strength. Giving Chop Strength either a boost, by making it scale differently, or drastically reduce the cost of chop strength and speed, could help alleviate this.
Tree Defense values also need adjustment. The defense scales super fast compared to the cost of chopping upgrades and the amount the chopping upgrades actually improve chopping.
A few things. The Daily Battle is severely lacking in how it does ... well anything. I did my first one today, had 5400 or so power, got to a draw with someone who had 15k power.... that doesn't seem right, I should have lost. so i changed myh line up and had ~12k power, opponent still 15k.... another draw. I should have lost that one too, but if I could make a draw using 5400 power, then with 12k power I should have won. I know it depends on what a mob fights against in the lineup. but if these power numbers mean nothing... why have them at all?
also, a suggestion - make an option to get rid of any of the reminders of Hourly Battle, Daily Battle, One Time Offer (especially this one) because even though they are just sitting on the side they make the screen more cluttered than it already is and make it a challenge to click any natural disasters that start or stray towards those buttons.
there should be a cancel button of some sort. sometimes I don't mean to click on Shop or Chest and want it to stop but can't. I have to sit and wait for the entire thing to finish before I can click on Hunt again
Would be nice to have a current heroes stat screen so we can see their stats without havign to either go into inventory screen or hero select. It could be integrated into the Hire Hero screen... which is misleading because I thought that screen was not just for hiring a hero but for upgrading them.... I wasted gold because of this screen.
A hero Stat screen would be great to have and could show us, not only what they have equipped and their exp, but WHEN a hero upgrades, as well as an explanation for what stats do what. Like shooting... does this effect attack speed or how many projectiles they fire? (hint: it's not projectile number)
Good point. Shooting Skill affects each hero differently. In the current version you can see what it does either on hire hero screen or when you click the Scroll button on the inventory screen.
wow. just started this game again for the first time since a couple weeks after it's release, saw a HUGE difference in the game.....and yet now I probably won't play it again if the devs are just like 'We have new platform, come there! We don't want to develop for the people who were there from the start!"
i have the same view of the idle gains as mystramisc. I left the game for almost 4 days, I barely gained 2k of all the resources. I have the game on and in less than 2 minutes I have gained over twice that.
Getting ds is slow enough, almost too slow, but that;s okay. but SP, dear anything ever considered holy, SP is rediculously hard to get at the start. After two days of playing I have gained a single sp. ONE.
I was excited to see this...until i realised you have to p2w to be able to do/have certain things (endurance mode, chain, etc) that should have just been there to begin with.
I like the new warehouse/port system. and though I know there's more changes to warehouse coming, but it seems warehouse is still a tad slow. the further in the game you make it, the longer it takes to upgrade it to a point that matters. I am only on town 3 but it takes roughly 30-45minutes to buy ONE warehouse upgrade. I still ahven't even broken the 3mil mark on my warehouse =\
Everyone keeps downgrading any comments or questions about ascending. I've read plenty of comments asking how to do it so I'll answer from what I've gleaned about ascension. other than it takes too long to reach it, you must unlock it by building 5 Nexus'. Dev, please make ascension available on the FIRST nexus not the LAST nexus.
Ascension's visible once you build 40 hatcheries or 80 expansions, and usable a while later after you spend a bunch of energy on other stuff. It takes 5 days or more to get your first (legitimate) ascension. Definitely sounding like the game needs to be clearer about how it's unlocked.
