Easy, easy, easy, easy, continue saying 'easy' until the 2nd last dungeon... ouch, ow, oof, ouch. The difficulty curve at the end is nearly a right angle. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a very strange thing.
You can tell you love a game when you return to it after a year of hardly playing and are pleased to find you're no longer on the first page of high scores for level... so happy to see it's still got such a dedicated following!
I'd really like an option for a 'new game plus' - allowing you to restart with the characters you unlocked by winning the last race (not the others, just those). There's not much point to them after you've finished everything, so it'd be a chance to get some worthwhile use out of the old favourites.
Currently almost crying in frustration at the two Jennifer levels I have left (done everything else to this point, so stuck at these two), but still love it immensely. Probably even better than the first.
Had a few goes... not as bad as I thought after my first play-through, but you really need a hefty dose of luck. Get the skates on your first jump and you'll probably get all the upgrades and be able to afford loads more jumps. Miss them and you're all but screwed. Overall a good idea, but far too much seems to be down to pure luck.
Somewhat fun, but... we have 49 easy levels and one harder one. If you die on the single hard level, you have to sleep through the 49 levels to play it again...
Clicked random every time and won the game with all golds by standing still on the starting block. Not especially fun, but then... I did play the whole game, so it can't be that bad.
So, I've crafted a round shield. Then I get a quest which tells me I have to craft a new one. Why can't my existing round shield count for the quest? Could do with fixing that.
Could definitely do with balancing the training gains better - flying is stupidly easy and you can launch, hit the first obstacle and gain multiple levels without even controlling your duck. Whereas climbing requires more user input than the rest put together, but gains are really slow. Likewise swimming seems slow too. Otherwise, a great addition to the series.
Love it, as I love F1 - especially nice to see it kept fairly authentic, with KERS instead of the usual 'nitro' button and general approximations of real F1 circuits.
I think it's a really good launch game... but the whole 'bash the 13 year old girl' thing is a bit tasteless. I do like the way it incorporates the song and video into the game, though... just think it'd rate much better done in a different way.
