Wow, I can't believe that people are disliking this game. So simple and yet so fun (I've never played Geometry Wars). The only problem I have with it is that lives are WAY too easy to get on later levels. That's and this definently needs API integration and a badge or two.
Controls suck and levels are boring (at least the first few are, I was too bored to play any more). Btw, high scores are esentially pointless if there's no API
Surprisingly fun :). Definently needs API and visuals could be a bit smoother, but in it's current state it still made me play a few times. A solid 3 from me.
So glad you made a solo game out of the first game from Music Mania :). Some notes though, for some reason this one felt like it had a slower framerate and wasn't as smooth as the mini-game version, could just be my imagination though. Also, I missed the exagerated jumps and dives from the other version. These ones just felt too fast and were a lot harder to judge (although I'm sure I will get used to it). Still, 5/5 and it's in my favourites :)
Not very fun as there's no challenge. I guess the crux of it is that it's just another generic platformer where you go from a to b. Also, isn't the title music straight from Mario 64? You may want to change that.
One more thing: when you finish the tournament put in the option of skipping those game results and don't link to your site. It should go straight back to the title screen.
Very nice game. Some possible things to add: 1. give the option to change keys, for some reason my laptop won't let me press up, left and space at the same time so it would be great to change the keys. 2. The ability to move left or right before serving to change the angle. 3. Different skill levels. 4. The ability to set how long you want the game to be
