I played this game for about 30 sec. didn't know what I was doing, but I liked what I saw.
I will not keep playing because I want to go straight to Creeper world 3 :-P
Score:32265 , this was kind of easy. also both rooms and position of items in rooms repeat. AND there are random items put on the screen that you don't ever search for in the game. 3/5
even just for an ALPHA upload like this there are some basics you should ALWAYS add:
1) a reset button
2) a preloader
other than that, you do seem to already have a grasp on adding 'extras' that make the difference between a good game and a great game (ie: the chopper looks at your mouse / custom mouse ) so I see good things for you in the future
Bug: the song timer says the song has completed 1 sec more than the max length of the song ('Break Free' by TranceCraft 3:43/3:42) as a result the game is not registering that I have finnished the level. a possible solution to this problem is to have the coding use = songLength){ gotoAndPlay(win)}
oh yeah, and in responce to the two bugs reported. 1) not always uploading: I am not sure what is causing this. thus I can't fix it. if there is a flash Guru out there who can help me it would be much appreciated. 2) Gold not collecting. to be honest it always did collect. but now I have added collection animation and sound (insted of just the ball teleporting away the your score rising by one). OR if there is part of the game where the gold isn't collecting, then could you please specify which part... all bug reports welcome
I think you will all be happy to hear that I have already implemented some updates in responce to your sugestions. and am in the process of preparing some other updates (such as the changing bg color idea). please keep providing feed back so that I know what the game needs. hope you enjoy my game :D
how to win: (1) build 2 farms close to you castle (2) build 4 Pawns (3) build camp (4) build enough bowmen and pikemen to hold off the enemy (5) build 3rd and 4th farms + 6 more Pawns (6) wait a bit (7) mass produce bowmen (8) go have some cake, come back to see you have won [NOTE: if on level Queen or King... (3) upgrade castle and build a forge (4) build as many rooks as you can]
