Leveled, bought a skill, -10 skill points instead of 0, so through glitch I lost 10 skill points. As my previous comment says, dodge ruins this entire game due to how slow the battles are. So far I see no catching other monsters, which is what I originally thought this game would be.
I give this game a 4 out of 10 for attempt and good idea, but not so great, if not bad execution.
I quickly learned that all I had to do was keep my hero back and rush with every other minion, and suddenly the game played itself. You can do this all the way up until the end of the story, and even then I've only had cast spells while at the bosses of the extra levels. Overall: Many new features that are amazing, I like this style of exp gain compared to the previous ones, interface is easy. I have seen the developer talk of putting it on mobile, which is my guess why it is so easy to beat. As a mobile game I believe it to be a good time waster with some fun involved, but as a computer game it just doesn't meet up to the previous Epic War standards. I would suggest one less minion able to be on the field, this alone could change how the game plays in difficulty and may set it at a correct position.
Instant thoughts: Graphics are decent, different style and less "Epic Lag" as people always call it. Accessories for each unit is a golden idea, this adds a lot of ability to the game and customization. Fog of war is a nice touch, in previous ones there really wasn't a reason to have that since everything spawned as it came, but this adds a new touch of challenge to the game. The loss on hero death is a big change, and very well needed in this game. Instead of just losing a strong power on the team with a hero death, you lose the match.
Suggestions: Put more levels in the game, more upgrades, make it more difficult and between each wave, write a Did you know? about Nikola Tesla.
I clicked through the whole game, it makes you do lots of damage with little energy use. A Tesla coil would use all energy at once, not just this much at a time. It should be like a cannon, super damage and long recharge time.
For game two, I suggest having mini death rays and you go through levels to obtain more parts or research to build the death ray. Example: You can deploy soldiers with miniature death ray guns who have quick fire rates, but minimal damage. You get the picture I'm painting.
Ty for spreading Nikola Tesla's name though! He was an amazing man, and Thomas Edison is a douche bag thief.
Ok, so this version is a complete disappointment, and I'll tell you why. I beat this, firs time through, no wings. I didn't even try, I just won, walked right through and smacked the boss in the face. What the hell happened to this game? The first time I played it I liked it so much I played for 5 hours. That was because I had to wing out every 15 or so levels, and was able to collect artifacts like crazy. Now, I just walk through and don't try and win in one go, complete disappointment. I waited a week for a gem to turn into a fail. I give it a 5* for what the game use to be though, that 5 hour play was worth a 5 star alone.
