It just proves that different people like/prefer different ships. Ignore the people telling you "xxxxx is the best" Just find out what you like to use and enjoy. My personal faves at the moment are the Sprinter with twin hornets and LBSS with the overclocked engine. Human fave is the Astro fighter with ESO, laser, EC and EOD
lol @ mark, Ben has been pondering DG2 for a while, it is still in concept stage. Have a look on the forum yourself before spouting utter bull. That aside the fact that Ben will be doing it at some stage is phenomenal.
Nice concept, rather simple though. Difficulty levels or an increase in difficlulty as the levels increase would be nice. The use of ammo to power the power-ups is nice, development of simple strategy is needed later on. 4.512569/5
I find the Hydra over-rated by non Hydra users. You can play and fight just as well in many other ships. It is not the ship but the pilot that makes the difference. Experienced players can use most ships really without difficulty. There are some players that only use the basic Starfighter in MP, defeating larger opponents often.
@ mixmorks... just trying to identify my gang members. If you know me that will have been the fourth time I have mentioned my gang name. As for the current debate on larges..... you encounter a hacker in a sector... don;t fight, just leave/refresh. They get bored with no one to fight.

But for those experienced getting 801 kills is 2-3 days worth of effort at the most.

@fortunacus, not often we get this level of developer interaction once a game is released. Two points, was beta stage long enough?, could you get someone to proof read prior to release. The English is understandable but there is room for improvement. Excellent game, like the strategy, I personaly think reducing the number of waves detracts from the long term stragety and placement. Ratin gincrease 4/5 for your reaction and changes to issues. Thank God for "B" :)
I have a suggestion, the whiner's stop whining. This is an excellent free flash game..... WTF do you want for nothing, the guy to come and make it in your house for you..... FFS get real. Game that gets better in the later levels when the early wave placement and strategy is vital. Now with no bouncing!!! LOL
