IDEA!!!! GAME MODES! like survival where you can only place towers and maybe 1 unit and you just have to survive wave after wave. or blitzkrieg where all units recharge twice as fast.
oh, another little thing: when you are looking at a planet to start a battle and choose to hire mercs, it would help if it would redirect me to the planet screen instead of the entire system screen. if that makes sense.
a speed up button would be awesome, but as it lagged a little as is, i would say that a sped up game would have tons of lag. i can live without a speed up button. hotkeys would be cool. also, being able to see how long a unit takes to recharge would be very helpfull. i found myself testing units that i hoped would be awesome, but ended up taking too long to recharge for my strategy. awesome game. nerdook rocks!
there are a few little things that i find other games miss.
1. you can continue to play with upgrades from a previous game. that way those who continuously die can finally get to the moon
2. the "reset data" button is out of reach. you have to actually try and get it.
a "not so small achievement" is the degree of difficulty. its not hard exactly, but it keeps you on your toes. one false move and you end up scrambling.
4/5. good work.
this one seemed allot easier then the first. still a good game though. i did like that you guys put a little more creativity in this one though. phase 17 was fun to play. ^_^
"crazy man attacks! he found a hole in the wall, snuck in, broke into the store room, stripped naked and coated himself in flour. had to put him down." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
i love physics busting puzzle games like this, but this one seemed a little to easy. it seemed most of them was "turn the corner, jump, hit the portal and bam you win" the last level was refreshing though. you saw the end, knew how to get there, but the road was perilous and required good timing and a good amount of trial and error. 3/5 for me.
pro's:
fun to play around with armor/weapon configurations
the art is awesome
its not insanely hard, but if you dont know what your doing, you will lose
cons:
the same strategy works for almost every level, thus eliminating the need for creating new strategies.
armor upgrades cooled at the same rate as a certain weapon making the two almost always seen with eachother and thus limiting the amount of creativity to be had.
can become more tedious then fun, but only late in the game.
the campaign was still offering suggestions up to the last world.
all in all, a solid 4/5 in my book. good game. im a sucker for RTS side scrollers. XD
