i don't see why people dislike the shotgun. use the quick reloading ones and max out dr holiday and anti armor and they make quick work of lots of stuff
the boss stages later on are far too hard. day 40 like 7 bosses waltz out each able to take about 5 fully upgraded shotgun blasts and they can sit there and block for 10 seconds :| this would be one of my favorite games on here if it was more balanced
@underthepale try the ship "Odin" and the "Fafnir" missles if you're having trouble with loki and just move quickly through his bullets and they wont even hit you. i beat him with like 20k hp left using that o.O not very hard at all

also this game isn't really very hard, just time consuming because of all the replaying you have to do if you want it to be easy
level 3 was a piece of cake for me but the boss was retarded when he'd spam his red laser 5 times in a row wasting 1/4th my fuel without a chance to hit it :/
