Had to reload during a furnace break or w/e and now I have 0 everything but my runes, so have been hardlocked out of playing the game unless I restart and I'm not putting in those hours again.
Yeah, I have no idea how performance correlates to anything. My one book does amazingly well, I get the same combination during the same audience preferences and do about the same on the same minigame, and I'm several points lower for no adequately explained reason. You shouldn't feel unsure why you're getting the results you are in a game.
I liked this game, but it was too short and I got frustrated when I couldn't find the 18 tile, because I mistook it for a bit of dirt or something on the ground.
So, I got an error message that forces a refresh the last two times I spun the wheel, offline accumulation is either majorly nerfed, or isn't calculating right (I gained 15% of what even the lowest I could have earned would have been), and I've had times where I had >1.5x production with the colour matching and it STILL hasn't reset my grid on a big crunch.
It would be helpful to understand what the chance of getting arrested is vs. how bail is determined. Earlier on it seemed there was no reason to pay off the cops since bail was relatively easy to pay, but later on it seems to be mandatory, or it can take forever to bail guys out.
This is kind of awful. The controls are clunky, there's a gross lack of the complexity, the graphics are bad enough that you have to learn what things are mostly by trial and error, and the collision detection catches you up on things you clearly aren't touching.. At least the music is nice.
I like how people are whining about how long personal level 7 takes. Yes, the game slows down. Personally, I'm just starting to get a little annoyed at how slow and repetitive it's become out here at personal level 9. I hope the new surprise mechanics invigorates the upper levels of this game.
We really need some way to buy multiple City Facilities in one click, like we can the businesses. Having not been playing this for too long, the initial purchase of city facilities on reset is hundreds of clicks. Ouch!
I actually preferred the new buy 10/100 system, as I like round numbers. The uneven numbers piss me off, and being able to know which I could afford 100 of at a quick glance was really useful.
Now, not only is the game back to being more annoying, but I've tasted the nectar of convenience.
The reason that people who play idle games aren't necessarily patient is because these kinds of games thrive by constantly giving the player the ability to get frequent rewards, so they get frequent but small senses of accomplishment. When they reach the end of the available content though, these games tend to have "walls," where progress grinds to a complete halt. At this point, the rewards more or less stop, and the player suddenly NEEDS their fix.
Either they suffer until an update, play something else, at least until an update, or they hard reset.
It'd be really cool if the game wouldn't decide that, despite it having been an hour or so since I closed the game, that no time had passed.
Cause I'm going to stop playing this if you guys can't make it have the same basic functionality it promises actually work.
Simple, fun, but with a couple tricks you need to learn to really do well. For example, it's very important to take out the archers, as they pose the biggest threat. It's also important to get a feel for how long the enemies take to charge up their attack, and at what parts during that attack you can take them out.
Pretty good, and I liked the idea (if it's a bit of an old one, I mean come on... it's basically flatland twisted around a bit). My only annoyance was the mirror puzzle. I get the idea, but it wasn't at all something I would think would make sense, and I was forced to look at the walkthrough to figure that part out.
This really seems like someone who had a neat idea, plotted it out, and wrote it reasonably well. The problem is that it contains many logical inconsistencies that just make the narrative as a whole feel weird.
We are working on this matter and will have a fix by Friday
