Controls are fine. Compared to something like MoneySeize which involved the same type of double and wall jumping puzzles, the controls are far more responsive. You just need to stop button mashing and take your time.
Mind you, Mely92 is only at the pathetic level of 1,203 - a measly 135 levels higher than his closest competition. Though somehow he's 499,994 stars higher, then his closest competition. That's just a little more than 415 stars per level. If you don't have a star yet, it's because Mely stole them all.
Ahhhhahahaa, I just looked at the high scores again and noticed the top score for stars earned is held by: Mely92 who managed to obtain a spectacular and drastically unreasonable 500,000 stars. Can you imagine how long it would take to get to 500,000 if you weren't a cheater? Would human kind even exist on the planet?... would the planet exist?... I'm going to have to figure this out.
Colino: All the new classes sound exciting with many things to separate each class except maybe Knight and Soldier, it seems like those two classes run very close to the same vein. Needless to say, I'm excited to hear more about the classes as they develop... keep up the good work brother.
Read the updates... Bonuses give double experience, seems pretty self explanatory to me. To all that have suddenly figured out in the last day or two that you can make the "Seconds Left" disappear by highlighting it or clicking on it or whatever; stop screwing around with it and it won't happen. Leave it alone. This is an idle game, talk in chat and stop f**king with the game.
I don't seem to be very good at level 4. Perhaps I need to rethink my strategy? Either way, I'm glad I came across this game. Frustratingly challenging at it's worst, satisfyingly exciting the rest of the time.
Awesome game. Takes an old concept, puts a great and inventive spin on it and while frustrating from time to time can be so very satisfying. 5/5 and a favourite. I would almost say this deserves some badges, though I'm happy to play without them.
You hit the nail on the head with that one Demonwolf. If you're only going to play for 5 minutes, suck at it and then complain about how bad the games is, don't rate it at all. If you haven't attempted to learn and develop your skills than you'll always suck at this game. Ghostninja, just drag and drop a gem. The only shrine you can't drop all gems on is the "Special Damage Shrine", you can only drop Green, Blue and Cyan gems on that one.
I concur deathwalkx, best flash game ever. This clobbers Sonny 2 for best game on this site. I could and most likely will be playing this game for the next month. There aren't too many flash games out there that can provide this much entertainment on such a simple premise. Some say it's too long; I say it's not the size that matters, it's what you do with it.
I'm stunned.
As far as "tower defense" games go. This is a work of sheer brilliance. I completed the entire original. They didn't just make a sequel, they improved dramatically on controls and ease of use and made each level more enjoyable to play by expanding on their solid repertoire. If you don't like these games don't rate it. This game is in the upper echelon of good games on this site and will provide months of entertainment.
Gemcraft: I will follow you anywhere
JMTB02. Never stop making games. You and your elephants make this guy very happy. Though is badge is surprisingly difficult to get... kudos to that as well.
4/5
I've never posted three times for any game ever. This game was a roller coaster. I hated it of the start. Played a little more and got the hang of it and now it's almost too easy. Graphically magnificent. Controls are really simple once you get it. This deserves the badges that it got. Now if only we could make the Westone chapter register. Still only 4/5, cause it's too repetitious. If you're having troubles, just keep practicing....
Okay, coffee solved it all; figured out what I was doing wrong with the mid block. Due to my stupidity and not poor controls, I move my rating up to a 4/5
Okay, I beat Chapter One, but I still can't ever get the mid level block to work and that has become super frustrating.
Nice presentation, controls need work.
3/5
Looks nice while playing, controls are too weird for me. I can't seem to ever get the mid level blocks to work and am too incompetent to beat Chapter One even with the difficulty at 3.
Really solid game. Can't understand why anyone would need a health upgrade but hey.... 4/5 cause it needs to be harder.
I hate awards based on dying. Nothing worse than wasting 10 minutes dying over and over again (even if you can do it really quickly in the challenges w/ no health)
