I agree with you pfnuesel, it is very humorous to read the comments on here and see that over half of everyone is wrong or just angry that they don't play strategically.
Okay, this game doesn't balance on luck. I've known this game for ages, it's called Farkle, or 10,000, or one of many other names. It takes skill to know when to stop, don't blame the game for your poor judgement, or the CPU's skill. Just make sane decisions, not rash ones. Like taking one 5 instead of two...five dice to roll has a better chance to claim a higher reward.
Very nice game, the logic makes total sense though. It's not perfect physics, but it would be rediculously hard and just even more frustrating with perfect physics. They're at a happy medium that I think fits the bill. Very well done. I still can't believe there are so many haters out there. This game deserves much more credit than the "I can't do it, I hate it" attitude gives it. 5/5
My methods for the zone 4 powerhouses were as follow. Ignition- Electro Bolt + Heroic Motivation. For dispelling both sides of the fight. Omen- Break for when he charges. Doctor- Subversion + Shatter Bolt. He'll try to super heal after he loses about 10k health, Bolt him, get him over 10k gone and Subversion him. Shadow- Disruption, possibly 2 if you want to be safer. I never let him have full focus. Hope this possibly helps someone.
Only a winch problem, but that's nothing a little player correction can't fix. Loved the references, too. Some were subtle, while others just made me reminisce about them. Like the Entrapment one, now I just want to watch that movie again. Great work 5/5
