And BTW tried for an hour to pass "veterans mode" and there is literally not enough ammo to finish and the tank is too weak... Throw us a bone and make a few more "pickups in there as well as a few more health up's
Also the rocks are a HUGE problem....Suggest darker rocks =low and brighter rocks = high '''''''''''Wasting precious ammo on a rock sucks!
The veteran mode is certainly doable without any upgrades, but very challenging. Elite mode, now that's another story. :-). PS, if you don't want to risk wasting ammo by hitting rocks, consider taking out entrenched targets with the mortar. -Onur
A good idea would be to put an "current overview map" on the screen so you can tell where you currently are and where you've been or need to go AND IF you are missing any enemies or crates that you have passed.
I would also think that the enemies ammo traveled faster so it's not so easy to dodge it.
A great upgrade would be a perk that allows a tank to become heavier and able to drive over simple rocks and barricades....
The enemy ammo travel faster on higher difficulties. We're certainly considering making them get gradually faster on further levels, to compensate for engine upgrades. As for the overview map: maybe for the next version. Although we wouldn't want to give away the locations of crates, we'd like to keep them semi-secret. :-) -Onur
I played this a bunch of times to try out all the upgrades. You get about $9300 in standard per play so it takes awhile. I didn't see a great deal in improvements with the weapons on the upgrade system (even for the more expensive ones) The tank control upgrades were also meager at best, the tank goes faster but still "not a huge difference".in control.
Lots of potential with this game , Great job! 4/5 because of the upgrade system.
Also the soldiers (though not a problem to kill or run over) sometimes hide under the pickups.
I gave up at level 1100 with 371 million. just add a couple of maxed out missile towers and went to lunch, went fishing, had dinner.etc.....2/5 for NO challenge..
