The practice combat is a little buggy. Normal combat does not experience these problems.
As explained in my previous posts, your saved games from yesterday were erased when I uploaded a new version of the game fixing certain bugs. Try saving and loading now--it should work fine.
I've been testing my game for problems all day, and I haven't yet had a problem loading a saved game anywhere in the game. The only reason why your saved game might have been wiped out is because I had to change the filename earlier today. It should work now.
If you're still having trouble, though, make sure you've got cookies enabled in your browser, and that Flash has enough storage space on your hard drive.
I tried uploading a version with the bugs fixed twice today--but it looks like it didn't "stick." I'll upload the fixed version yet again when I get home.
Are you kidding me? This game took a lot of work. At least play it before you rate it so low! Seriously. If people keep rating this 1, I'm taking this off the site.
This reminds me of Overhead: Persistence and Overhead: Consistence, but much more frustrating. This game has a lot of problems, but my main issue with it is that it's nearly impossible to tell when something is going to hit your line or not.
"let us select which unit we move"
Since you mention it, the full game lets you decide on the order and formation of your party. I'm glad so amny folks like it!
I should point out that the full game has an interesting plot and backstory, dozens of characters, upgrades, more attacks, and more people whom you can add to your party. This is just a gameplay demo, after all. ;)
