Solid! Especially for a first game, well done :) Couple points: some tooltips on the city- and worldmap/ would be nice, showing income/sec for a building, or rewards from already conquered lands (maybe also during war, just without the attack buttons). At first I thought the boost for Tech didn't work at all, it's not immediately obvious that boosts only apply to your home-income (unless you happen to be looking at the stats). The %income boosts unlocked through Tech don't do what it says on the label, for example the Tier4 +150% techincrease took my (boosted) home tech/sec from 18k to 24k, I was expecting 18k+150% = 45k. It also took me a moment to realize you have to buy tech after reaching enough points, I thought it would be active as soon as the bar filled up. The gather buttons in the top right aren't obvious buttons, which brings me to my last point: make the text on the helpbutton white. Buuut, other than that, very enjoyable! :D
Thx a lot for a feedback - i change most of the stuff You mentioned right now. Still dont know where to add news about update - ill check it later after i add those cash per sec button.
Thank again.
Fully agree with the previous speaker. Could've been great with wasd. Instead you're being chased by an enemy, shoot it -> speed up -> crash into a roid and come to a stop, then the enemy crashes into you and it's game over.
With the soft-reset as it currently is (very high reset multiplier, and you keep the upgrades you bought), subsequent runthroughs are way too fast. My MF went from 3.5 to 65 to 4k to 350k to 30m in a matter of minutes. If the MF gain per soft reset was 1/10th of what it currently is, it'd still be pretty high. Also, I bought the last available upgrade on the first reset, which makes the lategame a bit lacking in substance. All that aside, it's a pretty nice game, just a bit short.
Originally the last upgrades were supposed to cost a lot more but I encountered quite a few problems with big numbers and the editor, especially when handling so much money or a very high cost; therefore I shifted the game pace towards a quick but intense playthrough where the softreset allows you to aim for a highscore (or an overkill of the game) and lategame is but a matter of abusing certains mechanics such as the exponential growth with the upgrade "state and revolution" and the highly exploitable non-exponential growth of the MF rather than a slow game with little content but endless hours of grind. That said I still indeed agree that aiming for a highscore isn't exactly the ideal lategame and that's why after adding a victory screen (which can be defined as atypical for an idle game) I also stated that the user had indeed completed the game and any further gameplay would be just for the sake of a highscore. Anyway, thanks for playing :)
When you liberate the last part from the blob, the game just... dies :x Your army starts dry-humping an empty spot, and after a refresh only the background image shows. Much sadness! Very enjoyable game otherwise.
I fixed this bug in version 1.1a. Your guys will still dry-hump an empty spot but I'm working on adding little coin minions for you to attack in the next update.
About time this got on Kong. Note: the World Reset in Options is NOT a prestige reset. Prestige reset is done by getting Amenhotep to lvl 150 and buying his last upgrade.
The free gift is something you get for free, on top of your $1 worth of g-cash. Same with VIP, once you've spent enough you get VIP for free. Yes the wording is somewhat misleading, and no, I'm not arguing that $2k is a lot to drop on a game, but please get your facts straight before you start ranting -.-
@kingkev90: and there I thought it was just me. Around wave 12-13 it feels like you're dragging your ship through mud. Other than that, very entertaining :)
Made of pure win. Awesome how someone pulls a Leroy and leaves everyone else standing there looking like idiots with no possible way to get to the cheese :D Like username6 said, many lulz to be had.
Wow... ran into Chuck Norris in 2012, and -not entirely surprisingly- he raised an eyebrow, angels sang in an immaculate chorus and my guy exploded :( On that happy note, how do you go back to regular time after using the time machine (aside from dying horribly)?
@IJustFailedMyPie: You use them to decrease the bank deposit fee (0% with the VIP-card) and increase the hourly interest (up to 8% with Premium and Ultra card) -- after you buy them, click them in your inventory to equip them.
Very nice. Could do with a bit more mission types, and it would probably be a good thing if demand for products fluctuated a bit (made too-easy money going back and forth between Ares-6 and Walsh a bit). Oh and when pirates go bewm, the explosion are slightly underwhelming :) All in all pretty solid, 4/5.
Awesome game. Stats seem a bit weird though... My level 8 human knight has 121 hp, my lvl 9 elf rogue has 20 (!) hp. I mean rogues are supposed to be crystal cannons with high dodge/dmg and low hp, but damn, 20? Fun when you're fighting mobs that hit 3 out of 4 times for 5-6 dmg (despite the ridiculous 92 dex). Or as the kids say these days, i can haz revive pl0x? I'll just keep my girl grinding for a few days, see if she picks up some MAD LEWTZ™ in the process that make life somewhat easier.
Other than that, pure win.
