The improvements to this installment makes the first one look like an amateur test run. Considering that the first one was absolutely gorgeous, I'd say this is literally a perfect game. 5/5.
The laughter that accompanied each new item's attainment was a sure sign that this was going to be a good game. Finished it fairly easily, and it made me laugh. 5/5
1st Sector: "Oh, okay, this is a cute little game."
2nd Sector: "Nice, adding some difficulty."
3rd Sector: "This game freakin' rocks. The music is badass, and hell yes."
I like this game... but that first mission, "Go northeast of Pirate's Bay and kill three black pirates." So I go northeast, get attacked by about five ships with black sails, destroy them all, but apparently, on the map, the place I was supposed to go was marked northWEST and the "black pirates" turned out to be the ships with white sails that weren't attacking me. Yeaaaah. Love the game, but things like that are pretty damn strange.
Great sequel... not as frantic as the first, but the tension was high. I can't wait for the "Final Depth". Oh, and did anyone else yell, "PICK IT BACK UP, YOU IDIOT!!!" at any point?
