Hmm. 3/5. Good idea, and fun, but it's very frustrating trying to get the wheelly thing to land back in the halfpipe perfectly. I can see that it's meant to be difficult to judge landing on platforms but making the basic halfpipes so awkward is a bit off-putting. If it were a case of 'ten tries to land on the platform' it would make sense, but it's 'ten tries to get the speed up in the first place' which just makes me lose interest.
Nice puzzle mechanic - perhaps not strong enough to stand alone, but easily as good quality as a lot of the minigames in current console games struggling to add variety (Ratchet And Clank, I'm looking at you.) Very appealing design, too.
Whoo - fast background. And then when it suddenly stops and a dinosaur drops in - I could hardly play for laughing. Fun, but cheap, and it's really hard to see where the health things are until half of them have gone past.
Oh, oh, I made it to level 2. If games were just about having the most amusing squeak when you died, this would rule. But it's in dire need of a huge rethink - daleala is spot on, but also there just isn't really anything that improving it as it is would achieve.
Not a game. It's some sort of photoshop project. I don't want to get all snooty about what should be posted on this site - some of the really awful games have given me hours of near-seizures due to laughing so hard, but this is just nothing.
This game is far from perfect and grim to play on your own, but with some friends it's hilarious fun. A great mulitplayer game, for all its faults.
Either make some mates on Kong to challenge, or force your other mates to sign up!
Still...I find the earlier levels more satisfying, because it's you against your friends, rather than you against the slightly poor scenery and lag...It would be nice if they made more levels with 'player vs player' in mind...
I love how miserable the people you save look as they jump for joy.
It's quite nice level design, but marred by horrible collision detection and it's very awkward to time a jump/swing, which is particularly bad when there's so many times you have to use it. And the sudden acceleration is inconvenient.
