"This game is CPU intensive..." That's an understatement. Even with all settings off and low, day 25 is CPU impossible because of lag. It's a good game, I do enjoy playing (well, did) - but I'll never know how the game ends because it is impossible to pass day 25.
Even on low settings with optional extras turned off - this game still seriously lags when more than a handful of creatures are present on the map. If it wasn't for this lag, the game would be pretty good - but I've rage quit the game several times because of it. FIX THE LAG!
Only 2 real suggestions for this game: The ability to know what type of damage the mobs are dealing and hot keys for the spells (ex. 'A' is the hot key for fire - make 'G' the hot key for the first spell, 'H' the second, 'J' the third and 'K' the forth - 'B' brings up water, but the hot keys for the spells can remain the same G/H/J/K because it's a different section).
The auto-attack needs some fine tuning - there are times when my guy will run around attacking everything, even when the mobs are off screen ... and there are times when he won't attack anything, even if the mobs are attacking him.
Granted this is just cosmetic, but why do the skeletons and stone golems die with a burst of blood? Neither have blood...
I have every artifact and have bought every item possible ... so why do I still have 1 weapon (just to the left of the light sword) and 1 armor (to the right of the breastplate) still showing as unknown??? Would be nice if I could see what they are (even though I'm fairly certain the sword is Excalibur).
After getting the double shotgun - the game is EXTREMELY easy. Getting the kills needed for everything else will take just a few moments from that point. Having the 750 kill dog following you around just makes the game even easier (if that's possible).
All in all, fun for the first half hour, but gets boring and repetitive afterwards.
Great game - just want some more info ... like how much gold I've spent on the lv (so I can tell if I've spent <5k) and how much time has elapsed (for the speed achievement).
Also, a quality setting would be great - on endless mode, the lag gets ridiculous!
Not sure if it's a bug or what, but I've built only fire towers for the first 10 lvs (didn't upgrade them) on all three maps and still haven't earned the Pyromaniac achievement.
There really are only 2 major flaws to this game - constantly having to left click (just being able to hold the left button down would be so much better) and after muting the music, it starts up again after finishing the level.
Other than that, not bad.
@rocketman70433: Seriously? If that gets you hard, try watching porn.
The game is fun, but has no replay value - and after getting missiles, there's no point in playing.
See if it lags less now, I updated the game. :)
