its missing fluidity. "blahblahblah yur comp suks blahblah" nah. it could be a good idea to take out the geometry wars type ripple effects. there is a reason you made default resolution super low quality. not bad though 3.5/5 ish from me
awesome, 17 days =]. oh and ps to jaybird, try finishing the game before making a super cool claim like that, you dont find out how far you go past 6000, good luck on that last badge.
you got a great thing going if you can hit the repetition down a bit. boss fights every 10 levels or so plus new available upgrades (or an upgrade tree) would help that immensely. i can tell you are going to release a number three to this. try also a minigame aspect after completing X amount of levels, a good example in storm the house 3. anywho, 4/5 from me, there is one weapon that is missing, a mop for all that damn blood.
if you make a third installment, try making the screen somewhat larger to fit more action, and maybe tint bubbles different colors for difficulty indication? nice games
nice game, i agree that a sanbox mode would be great. for anyone that has a small monitor (like me) press f11 for full screen and f11 again to get out of it, helpful for tall games like this.
a fine game in itself, the upgrades are way too available from early on. i maxed out all of mine before the 20th level. either make them more expensive, make more upgrades available, or increase the difficulty of the levels proceding, lets say, lvl 30. by that time most players will have full upgrades.
challenges are pretty kickin', makes up for the lack of difficulty on the 15 levels. refill 25% of health for 8 points could be added, keeps you not wanting to lose any. pretty good
add a depth meter? (ruler type thing on the side of the screen) might help with gaugeing the jumps and not having so many casualties. it seems as if this game was just thrown together using the last base jump engine to transport ads... it could use some work
lengthen the level, add a scroll to it, make a reload time instead of one shot per hit on the spacebar, and make bullets easier to see and it would be a much better, nice for a novice game maker. btw if you aim up, the bullets dont even come out of the cannon ^.^ nice try
nice game with pretty decent physics. only gripe i have with it is when its 40 or so of those little things you are controling, it gets a little...unpredictable. other than that pretty good. 4/5 and to those saying you are stuck on lvl 10, you need to time your blue hits right. the clump of meebthings in the center goes up and down after you hit it once and if you hit it at the same part of the oscillation then it will propel them downward.
