The Skaran watcher was always supposed to be a slow big hitter due to it being the only basic unit with access to the "KtD" special. When used correctly it is still probably the most powerful pure damage basic unit in the game, before the update it was simply the only unit you ever needed.
Hi vengenceofchaos, you can pave the 4 grass tiles in the middle. I'll probably update that map to have rubbled paving instead since it seems to confuse a few people.
As a note to other comments about recommendations, it fails to take elemental strengths into account too, just weaknesses. I'll get a new little system to handle those sorted out soon. Hopefully in the next update now the major bug is worked out.

Hey guys, to address a few Qs - Stealing % increase affects the % chance of the unit. So a unit with a 4% steal chance combined with a 200% stealing bonus would have a 12% chance to steal. Quests dissapearing after other quests is normal, everytime a quest is won or 3 are lost the "normal" quests are regenerated, there are always normal quests available based on reputations since they are randomly generated rather than pre-scripted like storyline ones.
Hi Vice123 - The Protector series was inspired by an old game I made years ago based on UO. The sound files used are all public domain and a tribute to what used to be my favourite game and the inspiration behind the series.
Jusyt a quick FYI - This sticky movement issue people are reporting is not a problem with the game. Though We're looking into why it's happening.
007QoS - Once you finish the game you can continue playing endlessly though it's just for the fun and your score won't improve.

the issue with experience is a display bug. For example if it says 47,9.1 it actually means 479.1 - It'll be taken care of in the next update. If you're still experiencing a crash, please ensure you're playing 1.01b if so PLEASE provide as much detail as you can, a screenshot if possible and submit a report.
The roundabout level does seem a little out of whack, it's possible to beat without grinding, the key being an archer on that center spot. But I'll address the balance of that level in the first pass.

Thanks guys, it does appear the end game button can cause a crash issue. We'll have that fixed up shortly. In the meantime don't use it while a wave is in progress.
Kizen is correct, any Ultima Online aesthetic is intended to be a homage, sound effects that are shared are not stolen, they're royalty free sound effects that the game also used. It's a tribute to the game that started me on my path to developing games.
