Manual game saves are severely broken at present. If you manually save your game, subsequent saves (I think even including auto-saves) are then disabled until you refresh the game. I have lost some real progress as a result of this bug. In the meantime, the workaround is to immediately exit the game after doing a manual save.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. There was a bug, but it was only an UI bug. The state wasn't reset when you reopened the popup (it was reset when you opened the reset popup instead)
I've fixed it with the newest update.
The "money order of magnitude" high score list is kind of broken. It maxes out at 60, which is well below what people are achieving (I have been as high as 69 just from completing a single expedition).
I'm afraid this game is too buggy to play for long. I had advanced a fair amount, but at this point I can no longer open the Dragon's Den at all, so I'm stuck with my current dragon assignments. Game over, obviously. It also seems to have some kind of memory leak, since it usually crashes after playing a while (but now that I can no longer manage my dragon selections, that hardly seems to matter).
Where can I find the info on which dragons are strong/weak vs. which other dragons? I saw it in the tutorial, but now that I have 2 dragons I can't seem to find the information.
It would be nice if there were a way to force a save. As it is, the game auto-saves pretty well, except that there is no control (or indication) of when this happens. Typically after exiting the game, when I return I find that I have lost my most recent upgrades, which is really annoying. I would prefer to do (1) upgrade (2) force save (3) *then* exit the game, knowing that I won't lose my upgrades.
See my previous post for an updated summary of blacksmith recipes (ignore the post I made before that - I messed up the format and there doesn't appear to be a way to edit or delete posts in this forum). Anyway, I included the diadem recipe, which I hadn't seen posted before. I also cleared up some confusion in some of the earlier posts, which were mixing up runes (which are used to unlock/upgrade spells) with magic components (which are used in blacksmithing recipes). I use the in-game terminology, i.e. Magic, and I abbreviate Magic as G (to avoid a conflict with Metal). One of the blacksmith recipes produces runes (not spells, as an earlier post incorrectly claimed). Also note that you can recycle any 3 or more pieces of equipment. An earlier post seemed to claim you need 9, but that is not the case (presumably including more items increases the chance for a high quality result).

(ADDITIONAL NOTES)
(1) Some equipment comes in sets. Equip the entire set to a hero for added bonuses.
(2) To recycle equipment, place any 3 or more pieces of equipment in any of the 9 slots to receive a random new piece of equipment.
When manually refreshing a quest, I would find it a lot more convenient if it cycled through them in a fixed order rather than at random. Normally I want to select a specific stat, and having to click and click and click to get it, sometimes accidentally stepping past it, is tedious and adds nothing to the game.
Really bad bug: I just did a reset, I think my 4th one, but this time my shop purchases didn't reset, but my housing space did. This meant that I could not increase my housing space, so I could only hire one party recruit at a time. I'm still stuck on this broken run. Reloading didn't help.
Some suggestions: (1) having some way to specify building multiple structures at once is essential. Clicking thousands of times to build traps quickly becomes intolerable. (2) It would be nice to see which maps you've completed. Maybe display unbeaten maps in a different color, and maybe display the number of times a map has been beaten through a mouse-over or something.
I recently unlocked Culicimorph X, and it says it "will cost 3.18e273 meat and 1 larva" to hatch one. This is the first time I've seen it drop out of its number naming convention and use scientific notation for the meat cost. Is this a bug?
Sorry, I've seen a lot of positive comments but I am forced to quit this game because of bugs. It was acting a little weird, so I saved it, quit out, then started it again and loaded my saved game. The restored game left me in a completely black room, with my character only able to move a couple of steps in a small square area in the center. It's a total dead end. No hope of recovery. Start over or quit. So I quit. I would have kept playing if it had been possible.
If you get the yogurt before you get the soap, then it seems like you're stuck: You can't go back to the bathroom while you have the yogurt, and there doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of the unadulterated yogurt.
I'm confused about the requirements for the hard badge. It says you need to earn six in-game achievements, yet the check list only shows five. Which is it, five or six?
Is challenge 4 on level 3 broken? This is the one where you need to collect the yellow helmets. The first helmet seems impossible to get. There isn't enough room to throw pepper at it, and jumping on it is useless since it just hides under the helmet. I saw some walkthroughs where jumping on it killed it, so I'm wondering if it was changed? Or perhaps it's ony on kongregate where that challenge has been disabled?
I fell victim to the lost-save bug. I was on level 18 or 19, and I went down to the next level, then I remembered I was planning to stop, so I just closed my browser window. When I next visited that page, my save was gone. Perhaps that's a "feature", but come on, why not put the player back to their last save, rather than wiping them out? Needless to say, I have no intention of re-playing all of those levels, so I'm done.
