Powersurge and Super clicks should probably say what they ACTUALLY do: +100% DPS and +200% Clicks, respectively, so that people know what to expect if they Energize one of them.
With an Energized Clickstorm (presumed to be 20 clicks-per-second), my max clicks a second stands at 22, against a Low quality boss. That suggests that I only managed to click twice per second at most, which is ludicrous. Clickstorm has serious lag issues that actually aren't really serious unless you're trying for the achievements over 20 clicks a second.
This seems like it could benefit from a larger screen presentation. Some of the graphics are just miniscule, especially for the heroes you hire. The text size is also atrocious, which a scaled up screen also seems like it could help.
While it's impossible to add a counter showing overall time since beginning, a counter showing time since the last reset might be nice for gauging how long it takes to get to various milestones in comparison to the last time.
My thoughts on AI upgrades: Only get the business boosts if that puts you over a multiplier that you couldn't realistically gain with cash. Though you "lose" some AIs, the increase in money should result in a net gain over time. Since you get to a good reset point sooner, those AIs can turn over profit sooner, leading to more profit in the end. Especially the multiplier bonuses: getting those with only 2-3 times the AIs can be realistic. I bought the 11x one with only 1.4 Trillion (leaving me with 400 Billion), but because 11x is so huge I was still making over 3 times as much money. Not sure I'd recommend that, hence my 2-3 times suggestion.
10 hours might seem like a lot for the oil profits, but once you have 400 of everything they come rolling in every 9-10 seconds. Those double speed milestones are pretty crazy. Just getting 50 oil (and everything else) cuts it to about 35 minutes.
Correction, everything but oil and banks are useless apart from activating the "X of all" achievements. 50/100 of Oil/everything seems to be the breaking point, since oil and bank profits start coming in fast enough to be usable for re-investment
A fun feature would be to turn off investments if you choose, so that if you really want you can just see what one or two (like the hyperactive lemonade stand) are adding to the money pool. Silly and ultimately pointless, but could be amusing for a moment or two. Good to hear that balancing is coming, because everything apart from Oil and Banks is currently useless once you get some of each. Especially the profit upgrades, as those two account for about 95% of your income (achievement speed increases and profit multipliers otherwise being equal). The first round is useful and spot on, but the rest (starting at Lemonade 3x for $20Tr) are currently wastes of cash for a bleeding edge benefit unless it's for Oil, Banks, or AIs.
Wonderful graphics, everything has its own animation that it well-done. Only minor complaints: hit detection on bosses seems a little off, which can be especially dangerous against the sword boss if you don't have rockets. I've had attacks appear to go through the jewel to no effect, may have to do with boss jumping or attacking. An order to the bosses would be nice, or arenas tailored to the specific boss you're fighting. Would like either a delay reduction on attacks, or a powerup similar to the cool-down improvement that raises potential attack speed. Last complaint is to the high necessity/usefulness of the block breaker power. It borders on too strong with other movement powers added on. Some unbreakable blocks, or demolition-only blocks (or both) would be nice.
2 additional bugs: The "summoner" ability, with all upgrades, allows using the ability with 26 energy, but takes away more than that. Field does not always compress properly, leaving gaps that the game cannot see across (so it's not just a visual bug)
A few bugs. It seems if I finish a fight with the Barbarian's "fright", it carries over into the next fight first round. Also, the 2x power potion showed a bug: It didn't work the turn I used it, then I finished the fight the following turn. It seemed to be working the entire rest of the dungeon at that point.
The easiest way to preserve your score, since you lose points when you get hit, it simply light yourself on fire and stay that way until you die. No enemies can hurt you, and you'll get bonus points to boot.
Fun-ish, but feels like a basal departure from the series. Rather than actively trying to gain height, I find myself generally flying around looking for presents or UFOs or gates or whatever my current mission is. They tend to be worth far more than just going higher.
New game+? It's basically just hardmode... all the cash you had on hand, but none from your upgrades. And almost no missions left to give that bonus cash.
Interesting mechanic, though too often it seems to fall to nothing but trial and error. This is only forgivable in that the game is short and failing holds little penalty. I found the poetry to be thoroughly groan-worthy - it feels like a high-school poem that's full of itself for being "deep". It adds nothing and it makes little sense; it was added to make the game seem "artsy", right? About the only thing it has is that it rhymes.
Nothing in the game is trial and error. There's always a clue in the background to help you out, be it a poster that's cut in half or the leaves of a tree that just barely tip into another fractured piece. I understand the poem isn't on par with Poe or Tennyson but it definitely wasn't added to make the game artsy. It's left there as a simple narrative instead of beating you over the head with cutscenes every 45 seconds. Thanks for playing. I appreciate your honest feedback.
