i found that the further you hit on the edge of the paddle the faster the ball goes. With larger paddle and you get it right on the edge, the ball goes very fast.
With the favourite upgrade, i got a close match between larger paddle and sticky paddle. Although my favour is edging slightly towards the larger paddle. :D
