This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Description
A top-down puzzle game, Lightmare follows a vampiress who must navigate the halls of an abandoned mansion. The only way to win is to gracefully manipulate and reflect the light in each room -- but light is a vampire's greatest weakness, so how can she control it?

Arrows to move, Space Bar to grab mirrors (press once to grab, press again to release)

What a lovely little distraction. No timer? +1. Multiple methods of beating many of the levels? +1. Unintrusive background music? +1. Control system that worked, albeit a little fuzzily? +1. All of these, however, pale into comparison with the fact that I had a thoroughly good time romping through puzzles that made me think but never made me feel stupid or required more than a moment or two of preparation. 5/5, and mission comprehensively accomplished.
