Developer Updates
I just posted a new update for Colonize: now you can advance only one generation by holding down the Play button, and I added some tips to the early levels if a player doesnโt complete them in their first 5 tries.
And, the first Android versions of Colonize are now available:
Google Play
Barnes & Noble Nook

I got so bored just in training level 1. When do I get to actually play something? I do not know.
Sorry to hear that the first level was too long: I could certainly let people skip that level if they wanted to. Level 1 is mainly a tutorial, so people know how to move the camera around, and how Conway's Game of Life works.

I went ahead and shortened the tutorial level (Training Level 1). You still have to complete it, but I've removed the some of the instructions on the controls (using the mini-map, and controlling speed and zoom). Let me know what you think.

Never mind, it just seems to be completely random.

I first saw this game in the Chrome web store and instantly fell in love with it. Once I found out it was on Kongregate, I decided to use my 10 Kreds on acquiring the upgraded version of this game. For a while it worked fine, but then it only let me have the Conway and Seeds cells in sandbox, made me redo the tutorial levels, and wouldn't let me change the skins for cells. This was the only reason I stopped playing for a long time. Then when I played it yesterday, the upgrade features were fine, then they broke again today. Can someone help me fix this?

This is by far my favorite game ever. I'm also so happy to help with a study.
