Description
Age rating: 12+ (i don’t know, maybe less, maybe more, kinda depends on who’s playing)
Castle Wars Legacy is a strategic, turn-based card game inspired by the classic Castle Wars. Build your castle, destroy your opponent’s, and manage your resources wisely in a battle of wits and tactics.
Each turn, you’ll draw cards to build your castle and wall, gather resources, and launch attacks. Will you fortify your defenses, amass magic crystals, or go on the offensive to crush your opponent? Adapt your strategy to outsmart your rivals and claim victory!
== AI use disclaimer ==
AI was and is used to the full extent on this, from code, image, text generation to even mental health and cooking advice. Seriously, i ask ai so many dumb questions about cooking but with game dev it’s surprisingly the same. I would love to be able to afford to pay real artist but i lost my job to AI and now i make this game until i find a real job, so there you go. Hate me about using AI if you want

Gotta say, it's a bit laggy at times to play. When playing campaign, every card shows attacks and defenses on just the left tower. A bit confusing when palying because you dont know whos playing what. Although i like the concept, the simplicity of the first game is better for me tbh
it's server side rendered, so lag is probably while it caches all images. Should not last long. Either that or your internet connection might be slow but these days that's probably not it. As for other point, it shows how it affects you. So if you play left/red then it will show just your resources and your build cards will show how it increases your castle or wall, attack cards should do the same but for enemy castle. It was supposed to clear things up May 29 update - hey, i've also done some work regarding the assets, it should load at least 3x faster now, give it a shot when you can. Thnx :)

OHH NOO!! WHY KILL IT?! why hide the cards behind a 2 year grind? i love the game but wtf is this? or do you want me to buy the cars with real money? and for all my friends too??? because none of them will ever grind that much or pay a penny!! i am sorry please the old version are not supported by the new browsers. i get it you need money but that is not the way!! i want to be able to build decks and compete with my friends sell me cardbacks or skins but dont hide the actually game behind a pay or grind wall... i am crying why cant i just play a few fund rounds of castlewars with my friend??? i had so much frustration with the game i love because the old one crashes and here i cant build decks.... even if i grinded enough for 1 deck i would have to grind yeaaaaaars longer for the next... bro just give me all the cars and let us paly this great game.... i heard youll realease on steam but if it will be like this it will fail... pls dont ruin this awesome game!!!
Hey, thanks for the feedback. The main idea with the grind was not profit, believe it or not, it's a struggle with onboarding new players. "The grind" was more to have some sense of progression, like leveling up or building up the deck slowly and learning how to play and build deck along the way. Now if you already know how to play it, i understand how frustrating that can be because you just want to skip to the fun part. In any case, i agree this might be the wrong approach here and maybe it will be better to just let players dive into the deck building straight away. I'll change it so the deck building is fully unlocked :) thanks for playing and sorry for the late reply
